This review is from: Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim - Ultra Slim Laptop Cooling Pad with 160 mm Fan
Pros: Big fan, quiet.
Cons: Lasted 3 months, then died.
Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for I guess. Worked great... until it died for no reason after just 3 months.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: For the price ($100), the laptops are fine for my kids to use for school. You know what you are getting when you pay $100 for a laptop, so no surprises with the performance.
Cons: Windows will NOT update. I've tried everything in the Microsoft knowledge base to fix it, and neither one of the laptops will do ANY updates. You can't even install them manually.
I have a feeling these aren't legit copies of Windows, and the seller disabled updates somewhere that I cannot find.
Other Thoughts: The laptop itself is solid, but like I said, I have a feeling this isn't a genuine copy of Windows given the $100 price I paid for a refurbished laptop. If you don't care about ever getting a security update for windows or office, then it is a decent value.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: For a refurbished laptop at the $100 price tag, it is a solid little laptop for my kids to use for School.
Cons: Cannot update windows. The Windows Update just keeps checking and checking. I left it running overnight, and it never updated. I've tried everything I can find on Microsoft's knowledge base, and nothing has worked. Something was done when they installed Windows, and I cannot figure it out to save my life!
Other Thoughts: The laptop itself is solid for $100, but the Windows update thing needs to be solved before he sends them out to people. I emailed him, so we will see if he fixes it.READ FULL REVIEW
