Pros: 30+ FPS @ 4K easily - hangs around the 40's with most games
1080p don't even run it it will barely drop below 100's with Max settings
Price got it @ 1K
Cons: Low heat threshold
With low heat threshold comes throttling
AIO Cooler is not cutting it.
Price @1K - you will want a nice setup for it with the 500 you saved so water cooling is almost a must (at least for me it was).
Other Thoughts: Had to water cool it to get it to stop throttling but even with that the temps still get a little higher than I like.
In Stock form temps always seemed to reach 74-75 and then it started throttling.
After going complete water cooled it is better temps mostly reach 65 but it can and will get to 75 easy with water cooling w/o good circulation, I made that mistake earlier on and the water was pretty much boiling (had down system and pull case side door off).
Pros: 3 monitor support w/o the need for an active display adapter is great, just plug and play.
The cooling solution is fairly quiet when idle and doesn't increase in sound much over my after market CPU cooler on load and the temps are pretty low =)
Cons: Simply put have to jump through hoops to get my HDMI monitor to display at the correct resolution and then have to jump through more hoops to get Eyefinity enabled. it could just be AMD drivers but I've tried 12.6 and 12.7 same thing happens. whats even worst is when i shut down the computer the Eyefinity disables. There are other things that happen but too long to go into detail.
Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a sapphire 5870 2GB Eyefinity 6 which worked flawlessly except for burning through 2 active display adapters in less than 3 months.READ FULL REVIEW
