Big fan, except for the fan
Pros: Fast processor, good mount of memory, build looks great.
Cons: Rear fan defective, case scratches.
Overall Review: The PC is awesome, leagues above what it's replacing. However, right out of the box, the 120mm fan at the rear of the case (which i believe should light red) is defective. It does not spin (and therefore, doesn't light up), which means i may have to open the case and replace it, which may void the warranty. Having this fan not spin also makes the CPU cooling fan run at higher rpm, which increases noise. A slight disappointment on that part, but overall, the PC is working great. Not enough of a downer to make me stop liking CyberPowerPC, but enough to shave an egg.
Not bad
Pros: Light-weight, convenient. The vendor dealt with the order expediently, no problems to report. Overall satisfied with purchase.
Cons: Lower quality than expected, but acceptable for the sale price. Package had one wrong size bolt, so now one of the pedals has only one bolt (the bolt head is supposed to fit flush with the pedal surface, but one of them was too big). Also, it came with surface scratches on pieces that weren't even close to the package's surface. These is surely manufacturer issues, so the vendor should not be denied any eggs.
Overall Review: The resistance strap is a low-rent way of adjusting resistance, but since i don't have much experience with this sort of equipment, it may be a common thing.
Cheap & Cheerful
Pros: Very cheap; good looks; simple; Red/Blue LEDs can be switched around to reverse color scheme;
Cons: Extremely bright LEDs; not for every case; soft, unsealed package allows the device to be susceptible to impacts and/or moisture (which may explain the cases of corroded components and bent frames referred to in some reviews)
Overall Review: I have read nearly all of the bad reviews of people that were unlucky and unhappy with this product. I may be one of the lucky ones in that my fan controller came with no defects whatsoever. The construction of the device is not as solid as it perhaps should be, but it's still adequate for this type of device. The LEDs, however, are the kind you'd see in a flashlight, a single one can make it easy for me to see in the dark. But most importantly, this device will not (easily) fit into every case. It you have a case in which the front bezel mounts flush or even slightly covers the edges of the optical drives (like mine), you'll have to cram the device's front bezel further in the 5.25' drive bay. This fan controller's front bezel is clearly designed to stick out a few milimeters. Other than these two minor caveats, i'm overall satisfied with this fan controller. Also, keep in mind that it has been discontinued and the manufacturer's warranty no longer applies.
