HP 78A Black 2-pack LaserJet Toner Cartridges (CE278D)

5 out of 5 eggs Can't Complain 02/10/2015

This review is from: HP 78A Black 2-pack LaserJet Toner Cartridges (CE278D)

Pros: When HP has a sale and Newegg offers a discount on top of that it is practically buy one get one free. Can't beat that!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Don't purchase more than you can use in a year.
When left sitting around on a shelf for too long they tend to have poor print quality, I suppose this is from the ink caking up over time. But I purchased 2 double packs of color HP toner at one time and by the time I got around to using the last package (about a year later), half the page was severely faded and the ink was un-useable.

HP 125A Tri-Pack Color LaserJet Toner Cartridges (CE259A)-Cyan/Magenta/Yellow

Pros: Normal ink, 3-pack savings

Cons: Blue cartridge does not work, hp will not warranty because it sat on the supply shelf for a few months before being opened.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy ink until you are ready to use it despite the discount of multipacks. you end up spending more in the end replacing dead or dried up ink.

KINGWIN Lazer LZ-1000 1000W Modular 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC W/ 3-Way LED Switch and Universal Modular Connector Power Supply

Pros: Looks cool, cables unplug for less clutter, decent.

Cons: Horrible customer service.

Other Thoughts: After 1 month realized there was a mfg defect (loose wire internally) the slightest bump would make my pc turn off. I called Kingwin for warranty and they told me that i had to mail it in and wait up to 90 days for a replacement after the initial 48 hrs from the time they receive it to even begin that process. When I explained I needed the pc for work and cant be without it for 90 days and offered to PAY for a replacement unit to be sent to me before i removed the defective one, so I can still work. They would not sell it to me and refused to take my credit card for a deposit on the replacement unit, i even offered to pay the all the shipping charges on top of it Rep and supervisor also became extremely rude and had attitudes like i was bothering them by needing a warranty replacement, constantly talked over me. They just refused to work with me at all. At this point i just ordered a competitors unit and threw it away. I will never buy from Kingiwin again. ultimately was a waste of money
