Razer DeathAdder Ergonomic PC Gaming Mouse
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

3 out of 5 eggs Good mouse bad quality 11/02/2013

This review is from: Razer DeathAdder Ergonomic PC Gaming Mouse

Pros: Great tracking
Feels comfortable in hand
Looks nice and good grip on sides

Cons: bad build quality
squeaks
middle mouse button = bad

Other Thoughts: I got this from my brother-in-law as a present and so far it's a great mouse. It tracks well and is very comfortable. The only problem I have with the mouse that seems to be happening to several others is that the middle mouse button just doesn't want to work anymore. Another thing is, the mouse just has this bad quality build to it. It squeaks ever since I got it and I tried switching it out and still the same thing.

Both the store and the Razer customer support said it's not suppose to do that. Well I traded it out about 3 times at the store and all of them do the same thing. I would recommend the mouse for its comfortable use and tracking but don't expect it to last.

4 out of 5 eggs So-so but I like it 05/27/2013

This review is from: Razer DeathAdder Ergonomic PC Gaming Mouse

Pros: Great sensor/tracking, comfortable, looks and feels nice in your hands. Looks like you can go claw and palm grip with it fairly comfortably.

Cons: Build quality seems cheap, see other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: My brother-in-law bought me a RAT 3 as a gift, though I thought the RAT 3 was fairly nice, it felt too small in my hands. I went to exchange it for the Razer Deathadder and was quite pleased with how well the mouse tracked and felt. I was always reluctant to buy a Razer product due to hearing plenty of complaints about build quality and some of the buttons.

I finally gave in to getting one and was happy with it so far. After a day or so I can hear the mouse creaking whenever I grab it or put any sort small pressure on the back of the mouse. I contacted Razer about the product and they said it was a defect, so I went to exchange it. When I got the new one, it didn't creak as much but after a few days later it started to creak alot.

Not sure if this is the same problem with all Razer products but I didn't like it at all. It feels like it'll fall apart in my hands. I just hope this mouse will last me awhile, and if it doesn't I probably will refrain from buying another Razer product.

All in all, it's a great performing and comfortable mouse, but the build quality is very questionable.

4 out of 5 eggs Great Keyboard! 04/25/2013

This review is from: Tt eSPORTS KB-KNK008US KNUCKER Plunger Keyboard

Pros: Quiet, responsive, and simple! If you're not looking for a keyboard with all the bells and whistle, this keyboard is a great choice. Really liking this hybrid switch thing going on and it looks like it'll be easy to clean.

Cons: The keys themselves just feel too flat for my liking. Sometimes difficult to tell where your fingers are positioned. Even my 8 yr old factory keyboard had curves on certain letters so it was easier to tell where your fingers are located. So it may take some time getting use to. Though if you're use to those kind of keyboards then it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Other Thoughts: Was debating whether to get this or the MS sidewinder x4 and glad I chose this one, since it's quiet and doesn't look like you need to install drivers for everything to work. Just hope it will last!
