TRENDnet 6 ft. USB KVM Cable TK-CU06

5 out of 5 eggs 01/30/2008

This review is from: TRENDnet 6 ft. USB KVM Cable TK-CU06

Pros: Nice non-bulky KVM cable, would have rather had 8' instead.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I ordered 8 and only got 7 and a busted box (thanks to UPS) ... NewEgg fixed me right up!

TRENDnet TK-803R 8-Port USB+PS/2 Rack Mount KVM Switch
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Easy to setup, easy to use. Had no problems with a standard USB keyboard and mouse (even the scroll wheel works). Only used the booklet to get the hotkey combo.

Cons: Not really a con, but it would be nice in the description to state that it does not come with cables, just so there's no question.

Other Thoughts: May or may not work with "fancy" keyboards and 5 button mice ... but that's not what it's designed for.

Rosewill RC-201 PCI SATA Silicon Image, RAID 0/1, Normal and Low Profile Host Controller Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Running Win2003 Server in Raid 1 with no problems. Popped it in, created the mirror set and off I went.

Cons: Should include a floppy disk. Maybe bump up the price 2 bucks and throw in 2 SATA cables too.

Other Thoughts: On my mobo it will boot off the controller with no RAID. But as soon as I enabled RAID 1 the system will only boot if there's a bootable CD in the drive. CD tells it to boot to the HDD and it's OK. Probably just my mobo.
