Pros: cant give it a pro when it doesnt work

Cons: Not recognized on a commercial Hewlett Packard Z800 machine. Nothing works, will have to RMA it.

ASUS G Series G50V-X1 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 (2.26GHz) 4GB Memory 200GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT 15.4

Pros: Absolutely *GORGIOUS* Display! Higher res makes this model much better than the m50 series. While I hate vista, the machine runs it effortlessly. Graphics are fast enough for game playing. Great keyboard, havent noticed the key lag others mention.

LEDs on the lid and sides can be overpowering at times, but its easy to adjust. Quick boot mode works great, wireless network detection picks up things from quite a distance which is great.

Cons: Machine is as large as a 17" and doesnt fit into my bag that held an old 15.3". Backpack is good for college students but for a business professional something else might be more desirable.

The phrase "finger print magnet" is an understatement :)

Fairly heavy, 9 cell battery would be preferable.

Other Thoughts: Extremely happy I went with this machine over the Asus M50.

Kingston DataTraveler 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model DTI/8GB

5 out of 5 eggs Good reliable drives 06/25/2008

This review is from: Kingston DataTraveler 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model DTI/8GB

Pros: Had a 1 Gig drive I abused the heck out of, always worked flawless. When it came time to upgrade I tried a couple other "faster" drives but they all got read/write errors after a short time. Frustrated I went back to the DataTraveler.

Its faster than I expected, 14 min to copy on 7 gig of data (large 300mb files). The case is the same solid Datatraveler design, very durable.

Cons: Drive properties show as only 7.44 gig of available data space... the rest taken up by FAT? LOL
