Love it
Pros: Boots computer up in 30ish seconds. Playing my games and the most notable was Dishonored. Loading was SHORT. Movies and pictures pop and everything loads next to instantly.
Cons: Buy an adapter so it can fit into your computer.
Head banger
Pros: Looks awesome, plenty of plugin outlets for fans, numerous usb ports, it tells you what's wrong on a LED panel built INTO the motherboard. The Raid ports are conveniently located in the front.
Cons: I plugged in my RAM and it was rejected. So I bought new RAM that was supported from the Motherboard page at Asrock. Still rejected. I'm waiting on an update from their customer service desk for getting a replacement, but I live in Korea, so it'll be a good month before I get anything back.
Overall Review: I'll update the review once/if I get a working motherboard back. I don't want to blow 200 dollars on a motherboard then find out it's for naught. I guess I'll take it to the target range if customer support tells me to bugger off. Also, this motherboard is very picky about what RAM goes into it, be sure to view the supported RAM guide here... http://www.asrock.com/MB/overview.asp?cat=Memory&Model=Z77%20OC%20Formula
Create Portability
Pros: - Solid construction, feels like aluminum, like what was used in the uni-body chassis of my 2011 Macbook Pro. - Plug and play without issue with the steamdeck - USB functions work with my Pixel 6 out of the box - Plenty of USB options and the inclusion of SD card slots is a bonus
Cons: - Pixel 6 wouldn't detect my monitor when plugged into this device, couldn't get video to pass through, that's a bummer but not worth the egg loss. Cast exists and I never use that function of my phone.
Overall Review: I use this for my Steamdeck so I can plug my usb headphones into it while sitting on my couch. The steamdeck dock is not terribly comfortable to hold when I'm sitting on my couch playing my games or watching a YouTube video. The phone issue doesn't bother me because cast is a thing, just means it's only going to work via bluetooth. The device is a smidge heavy, but I didn't notice while using it for several hours. If I had feedback for the producers of this product, it'd be to put a power light under the USB-C port so that I know it's getting power, just a small green or blue light. Otherwise, I love the metal finish. I would recommend this to a friend.
Plug and play
Pros: Bought this to convert a Rosewill case that used Molex headers for it's fan controller. Worked like a charm OTB.
Overall Review: I felt the sata header was a smidge loose, but not worth losing an egg because it could have been the SATA.
I <3 this thing
Pros: This screen is slick. I love the image quality, I love the functions that I don't need, but have (just in case), and I love how much screen real estate it offers. It's a smidge pricey, so wait for one of those periodic deals; but I felt it was worth the cost. I bought this to use with my workcenter, and when you mix this thing with powertools, it's a workhorse. I do a lot of research and school work, being able to have five papers up as well as my word document... it's magical. I played Supreme Commander FA on it as well, golly it's wondrous. It's a tad large if you want to play a FPS, Cyberpunk is still good, but I felt myself sitting back a little to get the whole screen in my line of sight. Video quality is fine, I'm not a FPS snob, so 60hz is more than enough for me, so that's great. Speakers are good, nothing spectacular, but I can play my SteamDeck or Switch on it without any sound gripes. The PIP is fun when you want to do multiple computer operations at once (i.e. work laptop with desktop at the same time).
Cons: I bit heavy. I want to buy a monitor arm for it, but I'll have to buy a beefy boy arm for it. Monitor also doesn't go up or down, but does tilt. Not cons, just a considerations.
Overall Review: If you look at the pictures, the monitor is sitting between two 32" displays and is on a 60x60" desk, that's ~24" deep. If I could buy three of these, I would! Strong recommendation for workcenters and gamers alike!
Great case with some out-dated connectors
Pros: Aesthetically, it's quite enjoyable. RGB isn't over the top, has a nice clean exterior, glass side is good and plenty of expansion opportunities. I put my 12" 2080ti inside it with two HDD and two SDD and had no issues getting everything wired. Everything worked out of the box, with a caveat...
Cons: Does anyone use MOLEX power heads anymore? I had to buy a molex to sata power adapter to get the RGB controller powered. I sent an email to the customer service email and got crickets. I've asked my mates who build modern computers and it was a general agreement that molex is gone. -1 egg for no response from Rosewill, and requiring me to purchase a third product to get their product to fully operate.
Overall Review: Great product, recommend you buy something like this along with the unit if you don't have molex headers with your power supply... "Cablecc 15Pin SATA Male Power Cable to Molex 4-pin IDE Hard Disk Drive Power Adapter". I plugged that guy into my sata power header and the light show keeps my kids all a twitter.
