Pros: Runs various open-source firmwares, gig-E ports, USB slots. Good value for money. Even has gig-E on the WAN port.
Cons: none really
Other Thoughts: I have this running Tomato/Shibby, it works a treat. DD-WRT worked well on it as well. Wireless is reliable. Would definitely buy it, or another Asus router again. Will probably upgrade to faster wireless next time around.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Pretty red heatsinks. Would look nice in a case with a window.
Cons: DOA. Used in an ASRock Z68 mobo, machine threw memtest86 errors after a few hours. RMA'd, replaced cheerfully and without difficulty by Newegg.
I'd used G.Skill successfully several times before but will think twice before ordering this brand again. I've been successfully building and upgrading PCs for 25 years and have never before encountered RAM that was bad out of the box.
Other Thoughts: Three cheers for Newegg making RMAs simple and painless. I am, however, bummed to have to write my first-ever one-egg, negative review of a product. :-(READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LIAN LI PC-A04B Black Aluminum MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case
Pros: I love how this case looks. I have a "thing" for nice industrial design and this case is very attractive. Easy to work in, with lots of thumbscrews, toolless retention of 5.25" external drives, and no internal sharp edges. Plenty of room for a large video card. Lightweight--I got it home on the Boston subway. This case won't be a back-breaker if you're taking your rig to LAN parties. Top-mount eSATA port is a nice touch, as is/are the top-mount USB3.0 ports, if your mobo can use them. (Adapter is supplied to attach to USB 2.0 headers.) Plenty of 120mm fans to keep things cool. Quiet.
Cons: Kinda spendy. If you're the sort of person who keeps the case under a desk, the top-mount ports look like they're going to accumulate dust and crumbs in short order, especially if you eat at that desk. No 5.25->3.5 external bay adapter supplied. No front/top FireWire ports, if that's a requirement for you.
Other Thoughts: Does anyone know of a 5.25->3.5 inch bay adapter that works well with this case? I'd like to put a 3.5" internal card reader in this box and the adapter I bought (not @ Newegg) doesn't work too well with LL's toolless retaining mechanism.READ FULL REVIEW
