Logitech G510 Keyboard
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs Eggcellent. 07/22/2013

This review is from: Logitech G510 Keyboard

Pros: Works as described, no problems.

Cons: Software glitches with gaming mice.

Other Thoughts: Bought re-furb version G510 with new Razer mouse. The two were incompatible together, and would flicker on/off constantly after Windows boot. This was due to Logitech Gaming Software issues (LGS). I researched and through trial/error determined LGS 8.35 is optimal for running both gaming mice (Razer, anyway) and these keyboards. Link below.

Both 32 and 64 bit available.

Regards,

5 out of 5 eggs Eggcellent. 07/22/2013

This review is from: Logitech 920-002530 G510 Keyboard

Pros: Works as described, great condition for a refurb item (which is generally a craps shoot).

Cons: Software!

Other Thoughts: Ordered this product with Razer mouse (both on sale), the two were incompatible together due to software glitches with Logitech Gaming Software (LGS). I fixed this problem through research and trial and error. The only way to get the two to work together is to use the now outdated LGS 8.35, which you may download here

Includes both 32 and 64 bit.

Best of luck!

5 out of 5 eggs No Complaints. 05/06/2013

This review is from: Logitech 920-002530 G510 Keyboard

Pros: No problems
Great shape

Cons: No software--download drivers from Logitech (not a big deal)
**VERY IMPORTANT**
If you let your computer hibernate, there is a glitch in the software that does not "wake up" the LCD. Google led me to a guy who has free software to reset the LCD at start up each time. Easy fix.

Other Thoughts: Seems that Logitech would have thought to have the LCD reset upon wake up, but I guess not.

While others have reported grimy/dirty keyboards, mine was spotless, other than a few very light scratches in places. VERY clean!!
