Pros: This drive is fast and when it works it seems to be just fine
Cons: The drive started freaking out and having boot issues. It will eventually lock up and I have to disconnect my 2nd had drive in order for this one to boot up windows. I tried to update the firmware but it said that the version: D100309A" that is on there is newer than the suggested update.
So now I have been having all sorts of crashes
Other Thoughts: Don't buy this drive if there is something of a comparible price out there .READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: DFI LP DK 790FX-M2RS AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: This board fired up with no problems. Hell it even worked with a HD that had Vista already installed on it with a Nvidia mobo. Anyway, great overclocking. Got my 5000 black to 3.2 gigs on air.
Cons: the DK version has glow in the dark stuff all over it, which makes me want to buy all new fans and a case with a window, but that will never happen.
Other Thoughts: Can't wait to get another 4850 once the drivers mature to try crossfire.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast with tons of storage, if you have a compatible motherboard.
Cons: I bought this, not realizing it had issues with Nvidia motherboards. I have a nvidia 570 sli. After purchasing the hard drive I read about the issues and figured it might be ok if I use the fix that some of the other people have talked about.
I am using this HD as my main drive and even with the "fix" have had major issues. Most of the issues occur during games. I get BSOD/hardware error and major drive errors. Sometimes I have to run the full hard drive diagnostic tool with fixes to recover from the crashes, which can take several hours.
Other Thoughts: Do not buy this if you have an nvidia mobo and plan to play PC games.READ FULL REVIEW
