This review is from: XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler LGA1150 Haswell Compatible
Pros: cools well enough for me to remove cpu fan. After all day on, running at 40 C on both cores under my load, I am not a gamer. Note: artic silver Ceramique not yet broken in, so temps should improve somewhat. Running a sandy bridge, 2.5 35watt processor. Large Lian Lee case, Noctua nsf 12 b fans, GIGABYTE GA-H61M-D2P-B3 board.
Oh yeah, great adapter that gets rid of the Intel push pins, uses the holes and you have to have motherboard out to push bolts thru from back. Really good design.
You get one hell of a lot for your money on this one
Cons: for this price, nothing. Don't love the fan installation, but it works, and cannot think of a feasible way to do better.
Other Thoughts: Do _tint_ bottom of heatsink and top of CPU as indicated on Artic Silver website.
Also, remove memory, install cooler, then reinstall memory, then install fan. Otherwise, hard to reach thumbscrews.
Pros: worked fine out of the box, comes in a "brown box" apparently from Netgear
Cons: No documentation - pick that up on-line
Other Thoughts: Another no -brainer
$25 for an N router that starts humming immediately
Pros: well - Newegg put them down $100 on one of their e-mail specials - bought one for my brother-in-law - was so good for the money, I thought - hey if they put it back down, I''l buy one. So then they put it on shell shocker e-mail special, for $120 off - it's a no -brainer.
Works fine - faster than I thought it would be.
All in all, great for the money.
Reasonably light, nice screen
Cons: Well, it's not 64 bit.
I didn't like the fact that the keys are slightly larger than my regular keyboard. Doesn't have the same feel because of this.
If you're used to larger keys, not an issue. Hell, one of my employees scarfed it up grinning, and loves it - so it's not even an issue to me.
Other Thoughts: Nothings perfect.
But when you can get this much for so little money - it's relatively great.
If I had paid regular price I would have rated it at a 4 - but at the price it was definitely a 5
