This review is from: Mitsubishi DLP TV Bulbs WD57733
Pros: Replacement consumable lamps, cheaper than retail. Picture seems brighter than with the original OEM lamp.
Cons: Not OEM Mitsubishi.
Other Thoughts: Finally happened. My DLP lamp died (& on a Friday of all nights). A local electronics store had lamps for $300. Picked these up for $80 a pop. They're Phillips lamps, not Mitsubishi OEM lamps, but who cares? My picture is brighter than before. I should be good for another 8 years with the lamps I have, & by then, I'll be ready to upgrade the TV to whatever higher resolution TV spec happens to be available at that time.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Sony Portable Party System with Bluetooth
Pros: 430 watts of earsplitting sound, NFC/Bluetooth connectivity. AM/FM radio.
Cons: Junky iPhone lighting dock cluttering up the place (who uses an iphone anymore?). The speaker is BIG.
Other Thoughts: Bought this because I wanted a bluetooth connected speaker, but finding one with a built in radio is tricky. The little speakers have tinny sound & are over priced for the wattage they produce. First off, this speaker is HUGE. It stands about 3 feet high & isn't designed to sit on a shelf. Second, the sound can get LOUD. The volume will blast music all over the house & even at high volume, the sound is crisp & clear. The LED lightshow is an added bonus. The unit comes with an external antenna for radio. USB port for playing tunes off a flash drive. Sweet.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Grand Theft Auto V PlayStation 3
Pros: GTA is consistently a good game. The story unfolds nicely, the graphics are incredible, & GTA V returns us to the best location in the franchise: Los Santos. The ability to switch between multiple characters & plan jobs that involve the 3 characters is inventive. You can even see the world thru the eyes of Chop, a dog.
Cons: If you're offended by liberal use of 4-letter words & the N-word used in every sentence (when you play Franklin), this game isn't for you.
Violent, racial stereotypes, etc. etc. Stay away if you're under 18 or easily offended.
Would have liked to have seen the other cities presented in GTA San Andreas (Las Venturas, San Fierro), & more linkage to GTA San Andreas.
