This review is from: Microsoft Xbox One Console with Kinect
Pros: Great system, i did not care for the Kinect and was not sure if i really would use it. but it is getting better everyday, the game interaction with it is simply amazing. its the simple stuff too. shouting commands pulling up inventory, creating distractions with it. it is the next big thing for gaming. yes it has been around but this time it seems to work the majority of the time. onto the console i have an htpc i use for movies music and so on. i have turned it on a lot less now, which is shocking. snap is good and i actually use it and i thought it was dumb when i first found out about it. the feature is awesome when watching tv and combined with xbox glass. nfl app is awesome its like having quiete announcers give you every little detail plus history of a player. side by side to the ps4 no difference. ps4 is supposedly 40% faster. specs wise yes but they do not have the on die ram that the xbox has and the multi tasking capabilites. i have had side by side comparison on a 120inch highe end projector. 500,000:1 contrast 1080p and i cannot tell the difference. xbox ui is a lot smoother and the flow in and out of games is twice as fast. i also game on a 60inch smasung 240hz tv that is stunning. both look the same. (yes i own both consoles) but the one really impressed me overall. they are close but if i had to pick one it would be the xbox for the ui and the complete system that it is. i find something new it does everyday. also the kinect is a lot better still a work in progress but i can tell it is going to be good. controller is far superior than the previous by being subtly better. best design. better than ps4 but its all preference too.
Cons: ui takes some getting use too but that is common for microsoft and they mold it to what works the best. still has the best ui of them all but it is different. the price is steep but worth it in my opinion. ps4 with eye is almost same price. controllers do not come with recharge kit but can be bought. making the controllers 25 dollars more than the ps4. but ith less and less co-op on screen same console games come out it is not a big deal.
Other Thoughts: if i had to pick one it would be the one lol. good system dont believe the fanboyism of either console. i have owned mostly all the consoles at least the last 3 generations minus the wii U (will buy when price drops) they are all great but so far microsoft has done the most with what it has had (if you do not count the wii) but the ps3 was way above the xbox 360 on specs and games did not start to take advantage of it till the final 6 months before the new console. plus if cloud computing is as good as it says it is. which i have seen cloud renders that have blown me away but that is rendering and not real time. but some games already use it for ai and other things and they are the ones pushing well past 60fps so we will see.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Need for Speed Rivals Xbox One Video Game
Pros: graphic and control are great. cop cahses and vice versa are very impressive also.
Cons: need for speed use to have the gold standard on upgrading the cars. (underground) still dont know why they have gotten away from it. i loved picking parts. im sure they do not want to pay rights to use the names anymore or if it was the other way around but at least let us upgrade the parts individually even if there is no manufacturer.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Dead Rising 3 Xbox One Video Game
Pros: great interaction with the connect that actually works. very smooth especially with thousands of ai on screen at once. fun game all together much easier to play than the first two.
Cons: the weapon upgrades are definately neat and the vehicle ones too, but i would like to see leveling up of weapons.READ FULL REVIEW
