Pros: Very Solid router! Great range and speeds.
I replaced an aging WRT54GL with this router as a christmas present for my parents. they have a large house with the main router in the basement, I had a wired access point set up to get coverage to the 2nd floor. Installing this router allowed me to take out the 2nd access point as this router hits the entire house without issue (basement, 1st and 2nd floors) VERY impressed!
Cons: Could be cheaper? that about the only flaw I see
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a router to replace and not have to worry about for years, this is the one. you could opt for the AC version of this router for about $40 more, but I see that as unnecessary for most folks as most devices are just starting to come with Wireless N, not AC.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS H81M-E LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Fits in mATX case perfectly, new 1150 socket, great price, Asus boards are typically pretty solid from my experience. has 2 x USB 3.0 ports!
Cons: There is NO USB 3.0 FRONT PANEL HEADER!! That right, have a shiny new case with front panel USB 3.0 ports? Can't use them with this board! You would figure a motherboard saying USB 3.0 all over it would have this important header.... you would be wrong! I was SHOCKED to find this out as I had specifically bought 3 cases with 2 x usb 3.0 ports on the front. This board will not work with my case unless I buy a USB 3 to USB 2 adapter (had to find 3 of them and over night to get these builds done in time). I typically love Asus products but come on man! there is no excuse for this ASUS!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I've been using these CPU's in most of my builds since they came out, the performance is very close to an i3 for about half the price! Graphics performance is no slouch either and handles 1080p video with ease, and can even do some "light" gaming. If this is being used in a workstation or for a user with basic usage in mind (email, web browsing, watching videos) its a fantastic value.
Cons: The only downside I see is the switch to socket 1150, which doesn't allow you to put this in an older motherboard. There is also talk about Intel changing the socket yet again when they release their new CPU's, so its possible 1150 ends up being a dead socket. For the type of user this CPU is meant for, its likely a non issueREAD FULL REVIEW
