Pros: Prints and scans much faster than the Officejet 6600 which we use at work. Easy to setup. Biggest plus was the Ethernet port for a much stable connection to my network.
Cons: Tried to sign up for the Instant Ink service, only to find that this printer doesn't phone back how many pages you've used. Using HP's FAQ, I did a factory restore of the firmware, which caused the Instant Ink service not to recognize this printer anymore and required me to discontinue the prior service and setup a new one (losing my three month free trial). Instead I just canceled the service. I needed a good MFC Printer and I got it. I don't really needed this anyway but it's why I knocked two eggs off.
Other Thoughts: HP's Instant Ink service is a great idea but it needs to be done better, let setup the entire service from within the printer. If that's not a bother for you than this is a great MFC Printer.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Lots of space. Very quiet. Keep all of my digital games installed on this drive with lots of room to spare.
Cons: This was my first drive over 2TB, I learned quick that partitioning and formatting is a bit different for a single 4TB partition. Not a real con but I had a real quick educational moment.
Other Thoughts: My hard drive AND wallet are ready for a certain game store's summer sale. ;)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Lots of space for the computer I'm using it for. Very quiet.
Cons: Had issues getting it set up, not really cons for the drive I believe, but see below.
Other Thoughts: When the 30GB drive in my old Pentium III 550Mhz died, I took to Newegg to see if it was possible for find a new IDE drive as I'd like to keep my old gaming machine going. I was worried that 80GB would be too much for the computer to handle but for the price I took the gamble. I took a few weeks to finally get things going. One of the first issues is that programs like fdisk cannot partition this drive well, and installing Win98 or WinME or even XP results in an error saying not enough disk space. Even Lubuntu couldn't install on it. I had started to believe that the drive itself is faulty. But I tried again with Gparted. Now I have Win98SE installed on a single large partition, and although my main computer has TBs of space, seeing 80GB of space in Win98 had me racing to install ALL of my old software. My start menu is a mess but I love it.READ FULL REVIEW
