Seagate Savvio 15K.3 ST9146853SS 146GB 15000 RPM 64MB Cache SAS 6Gb/s 2.5" Internal Enterprise Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: This is a 15k drive in a 2.5inch enterprise form factor. this is designed for use in enterprise grade systems where 2.5inch enterprise drives are used. Newegg is correct in their description.

Cons: The other reviewer doesn't have the knowledge of enterprise systems to post a review to this drives

Overall Review: I have not used this specific drive, but the last generation of it is very fast and I have used it in a Poweredge 2900 with perc raid controller. These drives if like their precursors are amazingly fast.

An incomplete case

Thermaltake View 31 RGB Dual Tempered Glass ATX Tt LCS Certified Black Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case CA-1H8-00M1WN-01
Thermaltake View 31 RGB Dual Tempered Glass ATX Tt LCS Certified Black Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case CA-1H8-00M1WN-01

Pros: This is the best case in this size category to do custom water cooling for spectacle. The tempered glass looks good with enough lighting. You can fit basically whatever water cooling you want Vertical GPU mount for 30 dollars extra is very nice This is a great case for an advanced builder wanting to do a custom build. Read the cons, because the case definitely isn't for beginners

Cons: Cooling is incomplete. There is nothing to keep the case from cycling air repeatedly through the case, in fact the design of it actually encourages it and makes it harder to suck clean air into than recirculate at every corner. Front panel: The front panel design is terrible plain and simple. In order to b able to encourage any airflow, you must remove the grill from the right side of the front panel. Also, you must cover the top portion above the fans in the front if you want any hope at adequate cooling. In my build, I did this with a painted board to add to the design, but you will need to figure out how you want to do this if you want good cooling. Top panel: Throw out the air filter unless you want to do something weird with air intake from the top and out the bottom. This air filter if used with a radiator exhausting the top will cause air to recirculate back into the case and increase the heat of your system. Fans: Do not buy the RGB version of this case if you care about cooling over looks. If you care about cooling at all, toss these fans and replace them with any performance based fan on the market as these fans' performance is horrendous. They are louder than necessary and don't flow close to enough air for any above mid range system. The fans also cause a problem where you can't individually control the fans out of the box if you want to use the rgb fans, which might not be a problem to you, but if you are buying this case, it will probably be a problem to you. Also, the fans are ugly. They don't look like an even ring when you pick a single color and instead just look ugly. Any individual color just looks pointed and ugly coming from the fan. Design: This case isn't designed to be used by someone who builds a pc every few years and wants something pretty. The price point puts it in that range, but that's not what this case is for. Everything about its design makes it hard to work in for basic things and non effective for low end hardware. If you aren't doing custom water cooling, you really shouldn't buy this case. There are many other cases on the market that address the things needed for all in one water cooled systems and air cooled systems better that cost less.

Overall Review: It is by design that this case is for enthusiasts who want to do custom water cooling. Thermaltake still markets it with the all in one cooling, but this case is not a good option for just that. If you want to buy a case for all in one cooling, buy something better designed for it than this. If you want to build your own personal masterpiece of a water cooled mid tower and don't mind spending hours on building the additional mods you will want, this is the case for you. I bought this case for that and I was still disappointed. I feel like the case should have had some basic things figured out like the front panel, which has made me want to replace the whole case over. I also don't know how Thermaltake sees putting these fans in the case as a pro. There are fans that cost a fraction of what these do that feel like they are much better quality and don't make so much noise or in all honesty don't look so ugly as rgb fans. I won't recommend this case to any of my friends as none of my friends would want to spend the time it would take to make this case viable. I don't know if I even want to keep it, because the cooling problems the case introduces are such a pain to deal with and I'm tired of working around them already. Writing the review itself made me realize how many problems I had while building in this system just related to bad design choices and valuing see through fronts over cooling to the point of ignoring cooling and creating an air recycling case.
