This review is from: RAZER Mamba Wireless Rechargeable Gaming Mouse
Pros: -Aesthetically Pleasing
-Excellent Battery Life!
-Accurate When Plugged In
Cons: -Connection drops out intermittently in wireless mode for 1-2 seconds when playing games, seems more frequent in FPS games.
-Terrible for all day gaming, when battery is about out, you must disconnect the hub, re-route cable to mouse. total joke compared to my Logitech G700. Razer needs to learn from Logitech here.
Other Thoughts: I've always been partial to Logitech mice over the years, and again this product has reminded me why. In comparison with the G700(I own 2) this is simply an inferior product in most every way. The only thing this thing has going for it, is it's stylish glowing lights, and battery life. I bought this as I had a Newegg gift card I needed to blow, and who can't use another mouse?! Regardless with the intermittent connection drop outs, this "wireless gaming mouse" is rendered useless. Nothing like playing your favorite online FPS, only to have your mouse loose connection. I'll be contacting Razer Support, and seeing if there is any fix. From the looks of all these reviews, you would think Razer would have fixed this by now with a Firmware update or such. I own many mice, including the Deathadder, G700, G500, G7, ect, ect, the list goes on, If this mouse didn't have the connection issue, and 2 cables(1 for mouse & 1 for hub) It might be my most favorite mouse. However sadly, that is not the case. For now, I would shy away!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Corsair Gaming K95 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - White LED - Cherry MX Red Switches
Pros: Very high quality feeling keyboard
Excellent key feedback
Cons: You guessed it.......LED Failure
Other Thoughts: I originally had 2x of the K70 Gun metal with Blue lighting, with blue switches. After about 6 months on each board, the LED's began to start randomly dying out. Both keyboards have since been replaced, one with this board, which since RMA the G18 key has dimmed out, not died, just dimmed, so not a good sign of things to come. My replacement K70 black, with blue LED's is still going strong, but we'll see how things overtime. The LED failure rates in these keyboards seems totally odd, given Corsair makes such fine quality products & this has been a known issue for sometime. They also have some of the best customer service you will find. Supposedly their RBG keyboards do not have this LED failure issue, but you also must now pay a PREMIUM more for what this product should have been in the first place.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 - CPU Cooler with 3 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Pros: It's a pretty decent cooler compared to the stock all aluminum heatsinks you get with NON FX processors, especially for the price.
Cons: *see other thoughts*
Other Thoughts: Recently I purchased an FX-8350, and decided to compare the stock copper plated heatsink that came with the FX-8350 to this heatsink and the results are as follows:
Stock H&F idle: 24c mild load: 43c
CM TX3 H&F: idle 22c mild load: 43c
tests were from base clocks(no overclocking)
So my conclusion for this product is simple. If you own a baseline AMD heatink that comes with AMD's lower end market cpu's, and are looking do do a little overcloking, this heatsink offers great bang for the buck. However if you own an FX Series CPU that came with AMD's premium H&F, this is a total waste, your money is better off spent else ware.
