This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 - CPU Cooler with 3 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Pros: It's a pretty decent cooler compared to the stock all aluminum heatsinks you get with NON FX processors, especially for the price.
Cons: *see other thoughts*
Other Thoughts: Recently I purchased an FX-8350, and decided to compare the stock copper plated heatsink that came with the FX-8350 to this heatsink and the results are as follows:
Stock H&F idle: 24c mild load: 43c
CM TX3 H&F: idle 22c mild load: 43c
tests were from base clocks(no overclocking)
So my conclusion for this product is simple. If you own a baseline AMD heatink that comes with AMD's lower end market cpu's, and are looking do do a little overcloking, this heatsink offers great bang for the buck. However if you own an FX Series CPU that came with AMD's premium H&F, this is a total waste, your money is better off spent else ware.
This review is from: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo Dual-Core 2.2GHz Socket 939 Processor ADA4400CDBOX
Pros: I too purchased this chip back in 2006. It's been running rock solid @ 2.7Ghz in my O'l Asus A8N SLi Deluxe for those years. This computer has been used as a lanbox for classic games like: UT2004, LFD(1 &2), TF2, CS. It has no issues playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 either.
Cons: Not a single one.
Other Thoughts: To think this chip is now 7 years old and can still hold it's own. While newer games have really pushed this chip to it's limits, it still amazes me that these first gen dual core chips from AMD are still chugging along. And to think these old dual core AMD chips used to be given such high respect & everyone wanted one. I really hope AMD can deliver a revolutionary product like this in the near future, and put Intel on the run again.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: - Fantastic Tracking
- Super Comfortable
- Lots Of Buttons
- Personally A Fan Of The Texture/Feel
- On The Fly Charging
- On The Fly Sensitivity Change
- Multiple Profiles With On The Fly Profile Changes
- Logitech Amazing Support
Cons: - Not sure I will count this as a con, but this mouse is heavy! heavier then any Logitech mouse I've used, accept maybe on par with the MX-1000. It has taken some getting used too for sure.
- Battery Life is terrible comparing to my old G7 I use at work.
- Like the G500.........the smooth scroll is such a joke on these new Logitech Mice...totally worthless.
- The charging cord is super thick/stiff, making it difficult for accurate movement.
Other Thoughts: I bought this originally to replace my G7 at work. With the Cons it has, the Pros way way overcome them. I truly love this mouse, I bought another to use at home and retire my G500. Might have to buy a 3rd!READ FULL REVIEW
