No problems.

Belkin Pure AV - Audio splitter (6 FEET)
Belkin Pure AV - Audio splitter (6 FEET)

Pros: Transfers audio from laptop sound card with no problem. Definately a plus when hooked up to a 5.1 surround system. Super clear with no audio loss.

Cons: Huge plug-head for the 3.5 mm audio jack. Barely leaves room for a microphone jack which adjacent to it.

Overall Review: Cannot go wrong with these cables. I recommend the 6 foot cable instead of the 3 foot: in case the longer cable is need when moving or reorganizing equipment.

Excellent woofer, midrange and tweeter.

Pioneer TS-A1072R A-Series 4 150-Watt 3-Way Speakers
Pioneer TS-A1072R A-Series 4 150-Watt 3-Way Speakers

Pros: This high-end 4" 3-way speaker is at the top of its class. With no bass distortion or inadequate mid and high range coverage, the Pioneer speaker is great for small cars that cannot fit larger speakers. The woofer produces clear bass when connected to a 50 Watt or more stereo head unit. The speaker alone is not earth-shattering bass but compliments any subwoofer. The midrange gives a feel that your experiencing the performance in person; it is difficult to differentiate from live music radio. The tweeter is also excellent for reporoducing voice. Either way, all three components of this 3-way speaker is the best of 4" speakers available.

Cons: The package does not include wire crimps to connect the new wires that come with the speaker and the old wires connected to the head unit.

Overall Review: These speakers were installed in my 1992 Metro Geo. Although small speakers, they the Pioneer brand always makes the best speakers for any car. If you have a larger car like my Corvette VO6, choose the primier end. They are two levels better than these speakers allow more versatility. Overall, these high-end 4" speakers are excellent for small call sound systems and a great buy when you want quality for a decent price.

Decent sound for the price

Logitech X-140 5 watts 2.0 Speakers
Logitech X-140 5 watts 2.0 Speakers

Pros: Excellent high and mid range sound. There are no dead spots, or places in the room where the speakers are placed that sound bad. The price is perfect for someone needing speakers to get-the-job-done and not need bass.

Cons: Speakers are huge. They are almost taller than a 19" monitor. Power plug connected to left speaker. Audio out plug connected to right speaker. Both right and left speakers are tethered by a cord. Bass is barely noticable.

Overall Review: The speakers are practical for casual music and general PC applications. They definately are not intended for audiophiles. For a more advanced set-up I recommend a logictech 2.1 system, two speakers and a subwoofer. The X-230 is perfect if you have the space for the subwoofer around the desk.

2 year Experience and still Great!

Logitech X-530 70 watts RMS 5.1 Black Speaker System
Logitech X-530 70 watts RMS 5.1 Black Speaker System

Pros: 2 years later and no problems. (I bought the retail, not the OEM) Dolby Pro Logic II Excellent Bass equalization for video game consoles (Nintendo Wii, Xbox 460 etc.) The ability to listen to your games or music without disturbing anyone: Headset jack located on the front right speaker. Each speaker contains dual drivers. Almost no dead spots when moving away from the computer or game console. Perfect for a starter system on a medium budget.

Cons: The bass control knob is on the back of the subwoofer. The rear speaker cords are too short for rooms larger than 15 feet (from computer dest to rear wall). The 3.5 mm audio jacks come out of the right speaker. The connection between the subwoofer and the right speaker is too short if you want the subwoofer on the left side of the desk.

Overall Review: Overall, the X-530 is a great starter surround system. I experienced no problems with this set and it is 2 years later from when I purchesed them form NewEgg.com!! I recommend purchasing 12 ft RCA Phono-RCA jack to RCA plug extension cords for the rear speakers. RCA extension cords for rear speakers allow cords to be placed along the wall instead of across the floor.

Perfect! Ignore other reviews.

Logitech Premium 350 USB Connector Circumaural Headset
Logitech Premium 350 USB Connector Circumaural Headset

Pros: The quality sound produced is magnificent and makes online conversation clear and intelligible, while maximizing privacy and volume with a mute switch and volume wheel. The bass is generous and plays all genres of music well. Also, the mic, adjustable, never buzzes and is far enough to drink or eat something; convenient when chatting with a schoolmate who lives in another country over the summer. As for gaming, commands are clearly heard by teamates: BF2 ect.

Cons: The headset is uncomfortable at first, but a few flexes of the bridge between the two headphones instantly breaks-them-in. The leather padding could be thicker, but after flexing the bridge fixes the problem.

Overall Review: The headset is tight at first, so flex the bridge to losten the pressure on the ears. Make sure the mute switch is not on so that no one thinks the mic is broken. Overall, buy this item for clear online chat, gaming, or music; a great experience! OH YEAH. BUY THIS HEADSET IF YOU DON'T HAVE A JACK FOR THE MIC. The headset I purchased is the exact same logitech headset except does not have a USB plug since I have a microphone jack; it is also cheaper to buy this headset that has a mic jack. Either way, still a great headset!

Perfect for a PC entertainment center; Great for console systems.

Logitech X-530 70 Watts 5.1 Speaker
Logitech X-530 70 Watts 5.1 Speaker

Pros: These speakers are perfect for my PC. Each satilite fits well on my wooden desk and the subwoofer near the desk increases the power of the bass. The system plays efficient at all volumes, I have too keep the volume around 25% otherwise it makes my ears ring, and for all types of music. It's best use with the PC is for moderate gaming, movies/videos, streaming audio, and any music library. When the system is used with the gamecube, xbox, or the PS2, the sound quality is great but it is not used for harcore gaming because the system can distort slightly; high-end speakers should be used for the hardcore gaming, especially ones with a higher range and wattage. Excellent product for the experience and the price.

Cons: The light on the right speaker can be a bit too luminous. The cords are a decent length for a PC work area. The plugs are not optical. The satilites are a bit wobbly but satilites are really not meant to be moved. The bass can only be adjusted at the amplifier: usually the bass does not need to be adjusted much when playing different genres of music. Also, I have a 7.1 sound card on my laptop but I have only one jack, a headset-jat, for the 3 plugs that come from the system; I fixed the problem by purchasing an audio splitter, which goes from my headset-jack to the adapter that came with the system. These speakers are not great for hardcore gaming so purchase speakers with a higher range and wattage where the bass does not distort, especially in video games that have grenages and gunfire (Works the best in war movies not video games which require more out of a system).

Overall Review: I gave this system the highest rating because of the price and the casual experience I use this system for: occasional PC gaming and the PC entertainment center experience. I use these only for my PC because they are perfect for everyday use. In all, this system really BOOMS and a must buy for someone who has no need for a high-end product that costs hundred of dollars; this system is great all around and I consider it amlost a high-end product. Anyone will love it: just make sure your soundcard is capable of playing 5.1 or higher and has 3 jacks.
