This review is from: KINGWIN K8CU-8025 80mm Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink
Pros: The installation was easy and they function without problem for over five years now.
Cons: The fans are noisy compared to the stock heatsink and the cooling ability is also less than the stock heatsink.
Other Thoughts: I got a pair of these for a dual opteron configuration I was using. I only had one stock heatsink so I thought I would get a matching pair. The stock heatsink is not only quieter but outperforms this all copper heatsink.
If you don't have a stock heatsink I would consider these as a working option. But there are cheaper, quieter heat sinks to choose from so I find these hard to recommend. However, because they work without issue and were easy to install I had to give them three eggs.
Also, after replacing the stock fans noise went down substantially but cooling ability remained less than the stock heatsink.
Pros: Full sized HDMI port
Dual DVI ports
3x monitor support
Quiet aftermarket cooler
Same price as 650ti oc (179.99) but much better performance
Cons: PCI 6pin located on the side of the card
Vents heat back into case
Other Thoughts: I would give this five stars if the aftermarket cooler vented the heat out of the case, but it vents more than half of the heat back into the case. This is not a big deal for me, but the ambient case temp does go up noticibly while gaming. Also, the PCI 6pin adapter presses up against the side of my case, I wish it were mounted on the front of the card instead of the side. But all in all this is a great card for 1080p gaming.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I got these bundled with some OCZ SSD and they work perfectly, not a problem. Transfer rates are identical with drives installed or with the drives connected directly to the motherboard.
Cons: One of 4 cradles had a loose screw hole. I dripped a little super glue in and it fixed it perfectly.
Other Thoughts: I would have given five stars less the loose screw hole.READ FULL REVIEW
