Pros: Still running stable and quiet after 1 years
Many cables for all the devices you need (more than you might need).
Cool look without flush LED
Cons: It was a bit of trouble when putting all the cables inside the case (it comes with many cables), but that is the problem for all the non-modual power supply.
Other Thoughts: Just upgrade some spec few month ago and still running with this power supply and the same case. The system is still running as good as before.
Core i5 3570k Ivy Bridge @ 4.0ghz
Evga GTX 660 TI
Evga Z77 FTW
8G GSKILL 1600
2TB Seagate Barracuda
128gb Samsung 830 SSD
Pros: Pretty much same as most reviewers said- Stable output, very quiet, inexpensive, long cables..... a very decent power supply unit.
Cons: Almost- see "other thoughts"
Other Thoughts: Like most of the players do- I tested power supply with a “power supply tester” before put it into the system. The unit cannot be turn on the 2nd time after turn off immediately. I thought I am just like some reviewers with bad experience- receive a DOA.
I was very upset, and called my bud who is a technician at Dell. He wanted me to try again.
From his experience-
Some testers design need wait till +5VSB reset (about 5 minutes) to re-test again. He suggested me test again after 5 minutes. I did, and just like he said- the PSU works.
I repeat the test a few times every 5 minutes to make sure the unit works.
Now the PSU is in my system for 2 months without any problem!
If you test the PSU with tester, wait 5 minutes before you test again.
