UtechSmart Superspeed USB 3.0 PCI-E Express Card with 7 USB 3.0 Ports and 5V 4-Pin Power Connector for Desktops [5 Port Outside & USB3.0 20PIN inside]
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: All-Solid Capacitors! Stable transfers. Remarkable attention to detail and craftsmanship

Cons: USB Ports are upside-down like in most other PCI-E USB cards. As-is, if you install this card from the left of your PC case (as most cases are designed to be opened from the left-hand side [from front]), the connection strip inside each port will be closer to the bottom of the port, and most flash drives are inserted right-side-up with the connection strip closer to the TOP of each port.

Other Thoughts: Good overall card! UtechSmart is quickly becoming a reputable brand!

ASUS RT-N16 Wireless Router 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps DD-WRT Open Source support with USB Storage, Printer And Media Server
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Gigabit Ethernet (LAN + WAN), Wireless-N technology, cool design (like the proposed vaporware RT-N76U), three antennas, third-party firmware (Tomato, DD-WRT, etc.) support, Two USB ports, lots of RAM, lots of ROM, etc.

Cons: The default firmware stinks royally, and is primarily dysfunctional. Hardware-wise, the only thing missing is dual-band support.

Other Thoughts: Flashed with Tomato USB, right away, the first day I got it. My only gripe is not with the router, but the firmware. Specifically, the lack of updates and support to the Tomato USB project (hasn't been updated since 2010 or so).

Mionix Propus 380 Gaming Mouse Pad
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

5 out of 5 eggs This is THE mousepad to Get 10/08/2011

This review is from: Mionix Propus 380 Gaming Mouse Pad

Pros: The surface is phenomenal. You do not have to be a gamer to appreciate this mouse pad. It kinda reminds me of the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It's not too hard, and not too soft, but "Just Right". This doesn't feel like it will wear out soon either. Very Durable. Dirt and Grime Resistant (very hard to get dirty without some continual exposure to LOTS of moisture). The extra wide tracking area is a welcome feature as well, as I, personally, never run out of mouse room. Pad also works with any type of mouse (e.g. laser, optical, etc...) though I don't recommend using it with ball mice (I have Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical from here on NE, and it works great with that). I really love this mouse pad! A+++++

Cons: none!

Other Thoughts: Get this mouse pad today. You will not be disappointed!!
