Pros: when it works it is fine
Cons: The DIMMS I bought from Newegg are working fine. When I built the next server I wanted to use the same memory so I bought the from another vendor. within 30 days of going into production, the server became flaky. When I rebooted and checked the BIOS, it stated that this DIMM was malfunctioning.
Long story short, Samsung says the memory only has a 30 day warranty! REALLY?!?!
NEVER buying from Samsung again.
This review is from: SABRENT USB-DSC8 USB 3.0 to SATA/IDE Hard Drive Adapter, AC Adapter
Cons: I can use to get the files I need but only if connected to the USB port on my thunderbolt display. It is NOT recognized when plugged directly into my macbook pro (running mavericks).
So it is "sort of" compatible with OSX
Pros: Small footprint. Easy install. Rail system flexible for different rack types.
Cons: Make sure you closely check the memory specs of the processor to the type of memory you order. I initially bought 4bit memory but my processor only supported 8bit memory. Supermicro tech support was excellent as usual.
