Pros: 720p gaming on Med/High, 1080p gaming on Low. Great upgrade path for those on a budget. Overclocks like a champ with very little effort. Bought this to replace my dying PS3 and couldn't be happier.
Cons: Beta drivers where rough when I bought this but nice stable drivers have been release, new tech go figure.
Other Thoughts: If you're going to do any overclocking on this APU make sure you get a decent cooler or you will regret it. Fast ram is your best friend, don't go slower than DDR3-2133.
AMD A10-7850k CPU@ 4.4GHz / iGPU @ 1029 MHz
G.Skill Sniper DDR3-2133 CL9
Pros: This is my second time using MSI products for builds and I'm still not disappointed. Currently Running with A10-7850K using 2133 RAM. After the BIOS update it picked up my RAM right away without an issue. Board is huge and well spaced out. Kinda tight in my Mid-tower but it fits. MSI overclocking software is nice for the first time users. The aesthetics are just wonderful absolutely love the dragon heat-sinks. Killer LAN is a nice touch to keep your favorite games running at peak speeds as well, take that windows live update! Can't complain about a free game either.. well I guess you can but that just makes you look silly.
Cons: MSI's Live Update 5 - no matter what board you use this software is just awful. Best just to download it from the site and run them yourself. This board will not support a 3-way Crossfire setup in most Mid-Towers due to positioning of PSU, not a big enough deal to take an egg off for though.
Other Thoughts: This board may not be able to O.C. as well as an ASUS board but you won't find a board with more features than this at the price point. I totally recommend this board!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Got this for my first home build paired with an FX-6300. Board has a nice layout and runs at 29C at all times.
Cons: Doesn't have a hookup for front USB3.0. After about a month of ownership we had an issue with the board not being able to connect to the HDD and find my OS (Windows 7). Tried re-installing OS w/o any luck thought it was a bad HDD got a new HDD ran into the same issue. Tried yet another HDD got everything to work. Had the same issue about a month later. Tried messing with the PSU still not the issue, come to find out I had a bad stack of SATA ports, tried updating bios didn't help, finally changed ports and everything has been fine since. Not worth an RMA in my opinion.READ FULL REVIEW
