Pros: Snappy little machine.
Internet browsing, app install/use has been a quick and comfortable experience.
Easily latched to the back of my monitor with included vesa mount and screws
built in wifi
hdmi AND dp (I'm hoping to try this on a 21:9 monitor for increased productivity)
Cons: 2gb memory (easily upgradeable)
64gb 2.5in ssd(small capacity but large enough for what I needed)
Other Thoughts: SSD speeds tested 285mb/s write | 180mb/s read
only a single ddr3 1333 chip slot so plan accordingly for upgrade
Laptop sized hard drive bay (2.5in)
Max settings for most games is 60fps+ (1080p single/occasional dual monitor)
--(WoT will drop to 50s from normal 70-80 on max everything , hd texture pack, while my friends drop to 20s or lower)
--Sleeping Dogs MAX everything and never a stutter
My style of play generally has a movie on one screen and a game on the other. This thing seems to be a multitask hero.
Cons: I'm not as much a fan of Raptr as I am of the Geforce Experience, less refined and more 'glitchy' than i care to like. Not exactly a deal breaker.
Other Thoughts: Came with 3 free games and rebate when I purchased
can get to 70c while gaming , but I've never seen it go above and it doesn't seem to effect gameplay
I install most games on my spinning disk 1tb (Steam actually makes it easy) I only notice load time difference compared to the games installed on the SSD. Just make sure not to blame this card for issues of other components, because it's pretty great.
intel i5 3450s stock w/ CM 120V
2x 4gb Mushkin dual channel 8-8-8-24 1600mhz
Sandisk 256gb SSD
antec 500W PSU
Pros: -Works with Windows Server 2012 (after bios update)
-4 hotswap bays are more than enough for what we needed
Cons: -Bios update was a minor hassle, wasn't clear that it was the issue
-cpu heatsink was a little tight to install with the PSU cables running against it
Other Thoughts: -update bios out of the box
-if using SSDs, 2.5 to 3.5 mounting brackets will make it easier but aren't completely necessary
-Do not use ram of normal or higher height, it will be against the chassis
-Unbuffered ECC memory is a MUST. This system will not work with regular desktop memory (hoped I could get away with a spare chip for setup since the memory was the only thing that arrived late)
