Pros: Bright. Small, so will fit into almost any fixture. Very nice yellowish colour.

Cons: Flicker. Unfortunately, this twinkling is visible. One may get a headache quickly when sitting with this light bulbs.

Other Thoughts: There is no way to fix the flickering issue. Disappointed. Had to buy a different brand from another vendor (but they are not as small as these).

Pros: Wi-fi works well.

Cons: No bluetooth. Standard Intel installation package (from doesn't make a difference. Tried older packages with the same result.

Other Thoughts: Doesn't make sense at all: I bought it because if bluetooth and it doesn't exist, I suspect.

Pros: Looks impressive - some people will love such design.
Very easy to get internet operational. Almost plug and play.
Fast LAN ports. So fast, that my computer's HDD became a bottleneck when copying a large file to it.

Cons: A mediocre coverage, both on 2.4 and 5 GHz. I am surprised that other people praised this router for a good coverage. Forget about HD video or transer of large files over Wi-Fi.
The firmware is unhandy to use; slow responding (many other routers are the same), with some features lacking (only three settings for power: high, medium, and low), no chance to set DD-WRT or Tomato. In addition to all, it requires restart after making any change (each takes between 60-120 sec).
The cloud service requires registration on D-Link website. Tested it for several hours (with HDD attached): slow and clumsy, compared with what I've experienced with routers from other companies.

Other Thoughts: I have plenty of people in surrounding area who use 2.4 GHz networks, so this may explain a bad coverage. Nobody around me uses 5 GHz so far, but the signal droped below -70 dB in 3-4 meters withing the same living room (with link speed at 14 Mbps). This is what I cannot understand.
Overall, this router makes an overall bad impression. I would expect to get a decent router for this price.
