This review is from: Vantec 2.5"/3.5"/5.25" SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter - Model CB-ISATAU2
Pros: After I bought a cheap one of these hard-drive-to-USB adapter cables, and it burned up a drive, I purchased THIS one. It works very well, especially for such a small investment. Cons: While it isn't entirely clear which end of the IDE connector should go on the 1 pin, it's pretty easy to draw a conclusion, and nothing bad happens if you put it on backwards.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: New USB 2.0 to IDE SATA 5.25 S-ATA 2.5/3.5 Inch Adapter Cable for PC Laptop

Pros: I am in the business of consulting, so I see them all come and go. This was a surprisingly good machine for the money. It's got plenty of speed, the RAM is cheaply upgraded should you want it; it has Windows 7 (!!YES!!); it's extremely affordable for all the quality, and not overly burdened with bloatware.
Cons: It's not for gamers or power users, but at this price, who cares?READ FULL REVIEW
