This review is from: StarTech SV231USB 2 Port Professional USB KVM Switch Kit with Cables
Pros: I use this for several Windows laptops and I like the manual transfer. My USB mouse and keyboard work well with this device as well as a USB drive for file transfers. Speed is sufficient for the drive, not blazing fast but OK.
Other Thoughts: Needs External power, includes cables (6 feet long)READ FULL REVIEW

This review is from: Seagate Expansion 4TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop External Hard Drive STBV4000100
Pros: Very good drive, I have two and use them for backup and for storage of virtual machines. They are very fast drives and not loud. The run at a moderate temperature and the lights are not annoyingly bright.
Cons: Only a minor gripe, it take a little bit to be recognized if you have to move it. It is just long enough to make you think it is not working.
Other Thoughts: The included USB 3 cables are a nice touch and a decently long enough.READ FULL REVIEW
