Pros: This reference design wouldn't have been my first pick since all the aftermarket coolers have came out but I am surprised on how quiet and cool this card runs. Was looking at the EVGA but I was down in Phoenix for Christmas and this was the only model they had left. Didn't regret it at all! Card is stable at 1100Mhz on the core clock that is a 28% overclock.
Big plus for me too was these new cards can power 4 monitors at once. Only way was to SLI on my 570's.
I have my 1440p and two side 1080p samsungs and my 40" Sony 1080p TV hooked up all at the same time without having to change settings in control panel like I had to do before with 1 GPU.
Cons: None that I have found yet, Price? But it's worth it in the end.
Other Thoughts: I built my rig in beginning of 2012 and already had a GTX 570 so I just bought another and put them in SLI. Which was more than adequate for 1080p.
Treated myself to an Overlord Tempest 27" 1440p monitor for christmas and overclocked it to 120hz in 5 minutes. This monitor is amazing but at that resolution and refresh rate I needed the GPU power.
Even in some of the latest games at ultra I would need another to SLI to stay at 120hz.
Metro Last Light and Tomb Raider are just plain gorgeous. I can't wait for even more demanding games come out. Now I didn't purchase this card on newegg I noticed at the time it had no reviews and needed to share. I didn't get any free games through Fry-Electronics so that was a bummer but PNY customer service is top notch and has an awesome warranty. Wouldn't trade this card now just because how great it was to OC. Even thinking about buying a kraken g10 to see if I can OC further!

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H80 (CWCH80) High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Pros: Easy Install on my X79 Extreme 6 Mobo. You do not need to use any extra brackets for the 2011 socket. Keeps my 3820 under 80c until 1.31v
Cons: I really don't like the look of the ribbed cables. If they sleeved them like their modular psu cables that would be awesome. Again 100% aesthetics does not take away from performance.
Other Thoughts: Overall I am very pleased. I guess the issue with the grinding pump is hit or miss; either way there is threads for some fixes. Works well for me since my chip does not require too many volts. I am currently at 4.625ghz at 1.28v for 24/7 use.
Benched at 5.2 and hour prime stable at 4.9 - what more do you want from a simple self contained cooler?
This review is from: ASRock X79 Extreme6 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Great layout with the right amount of features. Validated my 3820 at 5ghz within 30 minutes and now have it prime stable at 4.66ghz at 1.28v! Been running this 24/7 for 3 months now with 0 issues.
Cons: For some reason when I first booted it up the asrock sata controller was set to boot and caused a short bootloop before loading windows. Just changed setting to off in bios and all was good.
Other Thoughts: I normally don't write reviews but some of the others on here are ridiculous. Solid board for the right price :-)READ FULL REVIEW
