Pros: Works, Plenty of support, Good Instructions, High build quality I've come to expect from ASUS.
Cons: No onboard raid. Many motherboards at this tier come with onboard raid, but ASUS has removed this functionality in order to sell a proprietary raid card. I should have done my homework but I'm currently sitting on a number of unused hard drives while I wait for my raid card to arrive.
For the premium paid for this motherboard, one would expect it to come with features included on lesser competitors.
Pros: Excellent build quality, quiet operation, easy to install, works.
Cons: Few instructions, but none needed once you realize that there are 2 types of connectors - PCI and ATX have different fittings into the power supply itself.
Ring-Tightening method could be improved.
This review is from: 1ST PC CORP. CB-6M-44F 12" 6-pin PCI-Express male to 4+4-pin EPS female cable
Pros: Works as designed, with a little fiddling.
Cons: Outer mesh sleeve immediately separated from either end of cable. One pin on the PCI side arrived bent, I had to bend it back and thusly I am concerned about the longevity of the cable.
Other Thoughts: This is my first one-egg review and I write it with a heavy heart. While the cable works, the incredibly poor quality of the cable leaves me with a sour taste.READ FULL REVIEW
