This review is from: Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
Pros: Keeps i5 below 52C under full load at 4.5Ghz. Mounting system is great: feels very solid. Fans are very quiet. The thermal paste is good stuff.. have always had good results with Noctua. No clearance issues on P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 with Ripjaws RAM, all tucked in a Fractal Arc Midi with plenty of room.
I'm used to Noctua's heatsinks, so mounting only took about 10 minutes total.
Cons: It's huge. Not a con per ce... it is functionally huge. I see issues with tall RAM and/or cramped case designs. Depending on your setup, you may be getting creative to get this mammoth installed.
Other Thoughts: Absolutely no regrets! Great performance, easy installation, plenty of clearance for my build and it is very quiet. Couldn't be happier!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: No problems... 8/8/8 1T with no fuss. 7.9 on WEI. I love when new RAM works. Especially in a new system. At advertised speeds.
Cons: ...I didn't get 4 sticks for the price of 2.
Other Thoughts: Great price for solid, stable, fast memory. Worth every penny.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Ordered this for a small workstation for my wife. Paired with an i3 2120T and 8GB Mushkin Silverline. This booted right up, everything runs cool, works flawlessly thus far. I am very pleased.... Mind you, I bought this not for a HTPC. Wifey is running the full Adobe Master Suite, a slew of Microsoft products (including Visual Studio, SQL Server). Runs cool, is pretty quiet, and has a ton of features. Very pleased!
Cons: Only a couple things. No SATA III, but I knew that getting in. Fan could be quieter, but it's no loud, and 80mm's are cheap. There is a red light that shines from the side vent. It is also kind of a pain to install the hard drive and disc drive. Had to finagle with a 90 degree screwdriver.
Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this box to anyone. I've yet to try the remote, but other than the fan being louder than I find preferable (still not that loud...) and keeping an eye on the PSU (these tiny boxes have a reputation for sub-par PSU's), I don't have anything but good things to say.READ FULL REVIEW
