Pros: Moves a ton of air. Perfect for liquid cooling radiators. Not all that loud- considering they are built for performance, not silence. I didn't have an issue with the screws stripping out, but I didn't go He-man on them like most of the people that are complaining about this problem.
Cons: Fan speed is not reported to the MB, it shows zero RPM. I have searched on the issue and have found out that it is a common issue on the new SP series of fans as well as the new AF series- incorrect resistors were used in the RPM reporting circuit in the fans. Not very happy with that fact, considering they were 15 bucks a fan, I expect better from Corsair or from any brand at this price point! Could have gotten cheapo Rosewill fans and spent half as much on the deal. I bought these because Corsair usually makes a very good quality product. It would seem like this new line still has some issues with the design though.
Other Thoughts: Running an ASUS M$A89TDPRO USB3 mainboard, with an ASETEK closed loop cooler. ASETEK is the company that builds liquid coolers for Corsair. I have noticed a 15 degree drop in loaded temperatures over the silent (19db, 1300 RPM) Cooler Master fans I was running before. Now my PC no longer hangs during gaming, which is a huge positive for me. If you buy these fans, be aware they are not marketed as silent fans, so if you're going to complain about the noise, you should have done some more research before buying them. Mechanically, they are solid fans, but the design of the fan speed circuit is a huge letdown for me. The issue is very annoying, it kept tripping the fan alarms on my board until I disabled the fan monitoring.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I have since upgraded to triple monitor Eyefinity @ 4320x900, and these cards handle the load quite well. some games play better than others, due to incompatibility with such high resolutions, but I have no complaints about the performance of the cards themselves. They have been working flawlessly for me. Do yourself a favor and unlock them already.
Other Thoughts: Great cards for the money!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish 1.0 mm SECC Chassis ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Pros: Been using this case for the past 4 years now with little issues. Great airflow and roomy enough to fit the biggest motherboards, PSU's, GPU's and cooling systems on the market with ease. Great tool less design, though I prefer to screw in all my PCI cards, which can be done, if you prefer. The drive bay rails work great. Fits tri-fired 6970's with room to spare.
Cons: Just noticed that my temperature display on the front panel is reading blank now, but I hope I can replace the sensor to remedy that. The fans on mine have run 24/78 for the past 4 years and are still going strong. The LED's in the fans however, are starting die out one by one, but hey, it's been on for 4 years solid with no other issues, so I'm not complaining. One thing to note, like the other reviews, is that the LED's cannot be turned off separately from the fans. You have to buy the advanced version of this case to be able to do that.
Other Thoughts: The plastics are a bit cheap on this case, but its really not an issue for me, since the price was right!READ FULL REVIEW
