This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 32-bit
Pros: Easy to install and customize to your own liking. Learning curve very fast. Not all that much different than XP, in my opinion, except for the "Libraries" feature. After customization for performance, I think it runs a little faster and smoother than XP.
Cons: Can't really think of anything major, but I doubt that I would have upgraded if it wasn't for the fact that XP officially will not be supported by Microsoft security updates after April 8, 2014.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Inexpensive. Excellent signal sensitiiivity. Easy to install.
Cons: Non really.
Other Thoughts: The ability of this card to pickup Wi-Fi signals is the best I have ever experienced. At least 30% better sensitivity than any unit (PC or laptop) I have had in the past.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very solid/heavy construction. I have been operating this unit for 3 1/2 years without one problem. It will occasionally give a warning beep when the power gets low in my apartment. During a thunderstorm, a couple times, it supplied me with plenty of power and time to shut my computer system down. Most of the time I hardly realize its there. I have every outlet available on the unit utilized including two video monitors.
If you are going to use the OPTI SAFE SENTINEL monitoring software, make sure you have the UPS service set on manual and started in the Windows Services panel and connect the supplied com port cable from the unit to your computer. You will then be able to monitor line voltages, battery level, frequency etc. at will.
