4 out of 5 eggs Good TINY Flash Drives 05/29/2013

This review is from: Verico Mini-Cube VM17 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Red)

Pros: Very small
Good capacity for price.

Cons: Sometimes hard to pull out of a tight USB plug because of how small it is.

Other Thoughts: Im using these on the internal USB header on super micro mainboards to boot ESXi. Not as quick as an SSD but they give up free space for dedicated storge.

These are TINY - Very easy to misplace. The USB connector is almost 3x the length of the flash/cap portion of it.

Pros: Watching the voltages - they stay VERY consistent.
Very quiet.
Very affordable.

Cons: I sorta wish it was modular.
I am not a fan of the new wire braiding trend on all the parts. I removed it so the wires would route easier.

SilverStone Temjin Series TJ08B-E Black Aluminum front panel, steel body MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case

Pros: The wire routing works great.
I don't hear the fan on its lower speed mode. I do in the higher.
I found it very quick and easy to install hardware into.
It has very good air circulation.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I don't consider this a con - more a point of mATX and the cooler.

If you use a coolermaster Hyper 212... the fan blowing onto the heat sink might hit the hard drive power and data cables unless you get 90 degree ones.
