Ubiquiti ERLite-3 Edgemax EdgeRouter Lite-3 3x Gigabit LAN Ports

5 out of 5 eggs Amazing Router 01/06/2015

This review is from: Ubiquiti ERLite-3 Edgemax EdgeRouter Lite-3 3x Gigabit LAN Ports

Pros: Small
Lower power usage

1.6 firmware upgrade is pretty good. I was able to get the router working in about 30 minutes and fully configured in about an hour.

Cons: The GUI interface still has a few limitations.
The addition of the config tree really helps though.

Other Thoughts: I switched over to this from PFSense on a 1u supermicro atom machine that I have been using for a couple years.

nMEDIAPC Black Aluminum Panel & Steel (1.0mm SECC) HTPC 7000B Micro ATX Media Center/ HTPC Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: I really like this case for use on a front room TV.
It blends in like other appliances on the shelf.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The front LCD shows "Home Theater PC" when on.
It blinks when the system is in S3 sleep mode.

Tall enough to hold full height video cards.

One included fan uses a 4 pin standard molex connector.
The other fan uses a 3 pin mainboard connector.

4 out of 5 eggs Good TINY Flash Drives 05/29/2013

This review is from: Verico Mini-Cube VM17 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Red)

Pros: Very small
Good capacity for price.

Cons: Sometimes hard to pull out of a tight USB plug because of how small it is.

Other Thoughts: Im using these on the internal USB header on super micro mainboards to boot ESXi. Not as quick as an SSD but they give up free space for dedicated storge.

These are TINY - Very easy to misplace. The USB connector is almost 3x the length of the flash/cap portion of it.
