NZXT Source 220 CA-SO220-01 Black Steel / Aluminum-like finish ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks good, decent build quality. Lots of "hooks" for zip ties for cable management on back side, though maybe not exactly where you'd want them. The 2 x 120mm fans are pretty quiet, though don't move a lot of air as a result.

Cons: Power button flashes in standby, may not be a con to some, but it is to me. Pictures are a bit misleading with the "tool-less" drive bay. It comes with 8 connectors, which means you can only use 4 drives, unless you want to use screws on the other side. But the pictures show all 8 connectors, leading you to believe there are 8 on the other side, there aren't. The drive bay is also not adjustable, which I knew before purchase, but still makes cable management a pain. Any decent sized video card(s) will render a few of the bays unusable. The 5.25" bays only have the "tool-less" connectors on one side, as well, requiring screws on the other side. That's the exact opposite of what tool-less is supposed to mean. It's completely misleading having the pictures have tool-less connectors all down the side you can see. Also I have a Corsair H60 which won't fit with the 120mm fan at the top, so had to move it.

Other Thoughts: Who knows, maybe it's just me. Maybe you're only supposed to secure one side of a drive with the "screwless" connectors. To me it's a con, but again, to others it may not be. For the money it's a decent case.

TP-LINK TL-WA850RE 300Mbps Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender. Wi-Fi Booster

Pros: Easy set up, WPS worked without issue. Looks decent enough, like an oversized air freshener.

Cons: Same high pitched ringing others have reported. Tried different outlet with no difference.

Other Thoughts: High pitch ringing is definitely data related. If I turn off the wireless adapter on my pc the ringing lessens. If I then unplug the ethernet it stops altogether. Though it's more of a "dinging" than a ringing, basically you can hear network traffic chirping away on it.

Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Cables were easy to work with.

Cons: Only lasted a week. Loud pop, puff of smoke and the smell of burning plastic. Still giving it 3 stars since it didn't take my PC out with it when it blew. Was able to put my old PSU back in and limp by until replacement arrives.

Other Thoughts: From what I can see inside there's some white goo oozing out of a couple different things. Can't tell if it's a capacitor or output transistor that blew, or both.
