This review is from: Intel EXPI9301CTBLK Network Adapter 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express 1 x RJ45
Pros: Small - low profile
Intel Beast Networking performance as all ways
no drivers in the box, used intel site (not really a con)
Other Thoughts: Ordered this for a client that had a lighting strike kill his router and the 10/100 port on a old hp SFF PC, this pop right in once installed the low profile bracket and downloaded lastets drivers from intel on a usb stick from my laptop since his windows vista had no drivers to use for it. Client is happy says his net is faster then before witch make me happy. Intel NIC wins every time.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: EDIMAX EW-7811Un N150 USB 2.0 Wireless nano Adapter
and works better then expected for being well...... Cheap
Cons: (if your looking for over 300mb/s then....) Slow LAN Speed
(if your want to be down the street or four floors away...) bad distance.
Other Thoughts: Down to it, it's $10 and work better then i was expecting i needed to turn my Mother's desktop wireless and i needed it done cheap. the desktop is about 50ft away and three rooms over (about 4 walls) and she can browse the net and watch Netflix just fine on her 1.5Mb/s connection. the best network xfers i got was aobut 5Mb/s according to windows. i get about 65Mb/s on my laptop on the same network and a desktop that is plugged into the router. In conclusion this thing is cheap and work just fine if you want extreme distance and network speed look else were. if you just need it to work this is perfect for cheapREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Hard Case
dual usb connection for when a wall socket is not near by
fits every 2.5" drive i have thrown at it securely with tool-less design.
Cons: dual usb ports can be a con for some.
Other Thoughts: as said in pros and cons this uses two usb plugs one for power and one for data i find it great for when i am actually mobile and can use the drive when i am no were near a power outlet. This can be a con since it takes up two usb ports and on most laptops you don't have that many but i just got a usb to ac adapter and keep it in my laptop bag and power usb port is red making it easy to tell the two apart. I have actually gotten six of these for myself and Clients who upgrade there laptop drive and this a great thing to use for the old drive so they even have more storage space.READ FULL REVIEW
