Pros: Would be nice if it worked.
Cons: Not compatible. The D-Link DGL-5500 can't get an ip address from my ubee DDM352.1 modem on TWC.
Other Thoughts: The D-Link DGL-5500 can't get an ip address from my ubee DDM352.1 modem on TWC. I've tried many different setting, original MAC vs spoof PC MAC, unicast on vs off, firmware 1.12 vs 1.13, StreamBoost on vs off. Now, the ubee DDM352.1 is a really crabby modem; so, I won't blame it on the D-Link. And the D-link is able to grab ip from my old netgear router just fine. This is just a heads-up of the possible incompatibility, for anyone out there, since I can't find any info on this incompatibility myself. Have to go back to my old netgear router.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very bright, Brighter than my 3-4 yr old 20w IKEA CFL.
Very efficient, I plug 3 of these into my watt meter, which has a 10w resolution with no rounding up, and it show 10w. So, 3 of these definitely burns less than 19.9w.
Cons: A little slow, takes a second to power up.
Other Thoughts: Got these @ $4, replaced all my CFL. Need to get some for my parents next time.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: it works when in range of wimax tower.
Cons: freedompop is very dishonest.
it's not "free"
Other Thoughts: They automatically signed me up for the FreedomPop Premier service.
And they won't let cancel online immediately.
I'll have to call their customer service to cancel it.
Having to wait on the phone to talk to CS means it's NOT FREE, my time is worth money.
I brought this only because they claim it's free.
Bunch of liars.
