HP Desktop Computer Elite 8000 Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.00 GHz) 4 GB DDR3 160 GB HDD Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit

Pros: The HP Elite 8000 came complete and ready to set up. They came with power supply and usb wired mouse and keyboard.
They seem to run really cool. With the two aerials they seem to receive really good wifi reception. Over all I am happy with
the purchase. The units are capable of running dual monitors.

Cons: Fans are a little noisey, not unusual for the small fan size. The units use laptop parts such as hard drive, ram memory, disk drive
and no expansion sockets. Some replacement parts may cost more money to replace.

Other Thoughts: If you or looking for a solid built business class compact design computer with displayport and D sub go for it.

HP Elite L2201x Black / Silver 21.5

Pros: I love the design. Simple to install. Simple to store. I bought
three of them. I am checking out the third one now. They seem
to be very green. What I mean what back light on full about
21. 2 watts. With the back light on low about 7.3 watts.
On a 21.5 inch monitor it don't get much sweeter than that.
These monitors are very thin, about 7/16" thick not counting
the stand. On the third monitor I have not found any stuck
or dead pixels. So color and consistency seems to be close
on all of the units. I'm not ready to call them a winner yet
but its looking that way. I bought two cards from newegg
too play them. I only used one so far and It has worked great. I have bought a lot of monitors, and some had to be
tweaked, not these. All I had to do is turn the back light
down. Easy done with the button on the units. One review
I read said the text was poor. What I seen on all three units
was very good text. The only thing I got that can beat them
is the two 24" dell IPS units I got from newegg. O and by the
way One of them cost more than What I payed for all three
of these. I feel I got a very good deal on these.

Cons: No audio out on monitor. When you set up a computer you
will want to remove the video drivers from your computer first
or like me maybe lose all your audio in your computer until
you do. You will need to learn a few things about display port
like me. It does not seem bad once you learn them.

Other Thoughts: Over all these seem to be a very good monitor for the money I paid. I had to pay extra for the cards however the money I saved on the price helped in doing that. I would recommend
these to anyone who either has display port or who is willing
to add it to your computer.

SAMSUNG B350 Series S24B350HL Transparent Red 23.6
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Mine is a 24" BX2450 SyncMaster Samsung unit with gloss
black clear edge. I really like the unit to use for a mutimedia unit. it has no stuck or dead pixels that I know of. I would buy one at the 200 sale price if I needed another monitor. I also have two Samsung 22" led hd tv monitors I bought a few months ago. They make good units because of Samsungs good quality matching of their products.

Cons: This one has only one hdmi, mine has two.

Other Thoughts: I thing this monitor at newegg's sale price is a buy.
