Pros: Replaced my i5-4440 i had in my system because it was starting to be a bottleneck. I have a Zotac GTX 980ti AMPED EXTEME eidtion GPU and it wasn't reaching its potential.
Pros for this beasty CPU*
-Can render my gameplay vids in Sony Vegas ALOT faster!
-More power with more cores and hyperthreading.
-My games now run at very high FPS! I've noticed almost 10fps increase as opposed to my old i5-4440.
-This CPU will absolutely run HOT if you don't slap an aftermarket cooler on it! I have a corsair H50 liquid cooler and when I render temps shot up to 86 degrees as a maximum. Of course it isn't sustained but that is a little too hot for me even.
Other Thoughts: Upgrading from my i5-4440 i have seen night and day differences in my game performance. CPU rendering in vegas pro has also seen a significant jump in speed. Just make sure you have a good aftermarket CPU cooler to keep this thing frosty. (WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T USE THE STOCK COOLER THAT COMES WITH THIS CPU!!!)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: *POWERFUL!! Boosted up to 1450mhz out of the box without any overclocking! Ridiculous.
*Runs very cool. I haven't hit 70 degrees playing the Witcher 3 maxed out or BF4 maxed out!
*Design. The card is simply built like a Mercedes Benz. Absolute quality with a superb backplate included.
Cons: *It is a HUGE card! I had to reroute some cables in my cooler master HAF 912 to fit the card in! It is also pretty heavy.
*I have some slight coil whine but I can't really hear it and also I wear headphones when I game so it doesn't bother me.
*Price, but you get a card that equals 2 970s in SLI!!!!
Other Thoughts: This is are REALLY GOOD CARD! I updated from a GTX SC 770 from Nvidia and it is like night and day! Withcer 3 runs MAXXED out with my i5-4440 and this gtx 980 ti @ 60fps! I have Skyrim with mods and a bunch of texture mods and it doesn't go lower than 60fps! With 2k and 4k textures and a demanding ENB on top of that @ 1080p. I haven't tried 1440p yet as I just got this card today so I might add more to this review. SIMPLY PUT GET THIS CARD AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-Z87-HD3 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: NIce motherboard. Good features. ALOT of usb ports and ALOT of fan headers for cases with built in fans.
Cons: None so far. Very durable...but not a con LOL
Other Thoughts: Straightforward bios setup. Very detailed and modern. However I would like to say that if you put in RAM that is clocked at 1600mhz you MUST go into the bios and enable XMP. Other wise the MB will downclock your RAM frequency to 1333.3 instead.READ FULL REVIEW
