Pros: Price, Performance, Plug-n-Play with Linux
Cons: Started dropping connection after three and a half years of use
Other Thoughts: I've had this thing for over four years now. It's in an HTPC in my upstairs bedroom. My router is downstairs and I get a strong connection. I've used it with both Mint Linux 13 and now Mint 16 and it's plug-n-play. A couple of months ago it started losing connection once every two or three days. Unplugging and re-plugging it solves the problem. Didn't dock an egg for it as I don't expect my electronics to last forever.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: works as advertised; long; sturdy; cost
Other Thoughts: I use this to power some gaming devices (x-box controller; Logitech G13) hooked up to an HTPC/Gaming rig in the living room. Now I can game on my 52" tv 10' away while sitting in the recliner. Cable is built strong (for a better lack of a word) so I had to hang it from a door for about a day to loosen up the curls from packaging but that's not necessarily a bad thing. No regrets would buy all over again.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech G13 (920-000946) Advanced Gameboard
Pros: Got it on sale; fairly easy set-up; works with all my games
Cons: Learning curve; my fingers are still cramped, same as if I were using a keyboard
Other Thoughts: I purchased this to use with an HTPC/Gaming rig I have hooked up to a 52" TV in the living room. I use to use a device called The Claw for FPS gaming but the manufacture is no longer supporting the device so I have no drivers for my 64-bit version of Windows 7. I've got the G13 hooked up to a 10' extension cord plugged in to a powered USB hub n it works fine. Many more buttons than my Claw but it's not as ergonomic and there is a learning curve. I have small to medium sized hands and it fits fine.READ FULL REVIEW
