This review is from: SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum / Steel ML04B Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Pros: Very nice design. Didn't have any issues with the door magnet or spacing with DVD/Blu-ray drive and power supply. I think it's ideal for a minimal fan HTPC, which was my purpose. Amount of included screws was very welcome, far beyond what most people will need and I thought was a nice little bonus. Adjustable front LED brightness was also much appreciated. Very stiff case, feels high quality
Cons: The logo is a bit large and clashes with what is otherwise a very nice looking front panel. I understand a company wanted their logo displayed but you don't need to advertise to my empty living room.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Price (of course), HDMI with audio, really the only reason I bought this card. So much better video quality than the on-board graphics I was using (Intel DG45ID motherboard).
Low profile adapter included. Working great with Windows 7 Media Center and Arcsoft's Total Media Theater for Blu-Ray playback. NO issues!
Cons: For me, haven't found one.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ENCORE ENRXWI-G 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Extender up to 54Mbps
Pros: Web configuration interface is very simple (too simple?). Works perfectly as a bridge to my wireless network, using it to print wirelessly to my ethernet printer.
At least half the price (picked it up for 29) of anything else that can bridge.
Worked perfectly the first time, so far hasn't caused any trouble.
Cons: Doesn't have as nice a configuration interface as the bigger names. Documentation is pretty thin on detail. Might be more difficult for the novice PC user to configure and use than Linksys, Netgear, etc...
Other Thoughts: Only using it as a bridge, and fairly close to my router so I can't comment on distance or other funcations. One odd note, I couldn't save the configuration changes I made to it while using firefox 3. Using IE7 everything worked fine.READ FULL REVIEW
