Team F108 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Golden) Model TG016GF108N3

3 out of 5 eggs Great while it works. 11/04/2013

This review is from: Team F108 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Golden) Model TG016GF108N3

Pros: I have a 32G version of this drive that's still going strong. It's reasonably fast on USB3, and cheap - what more do you want from a flash drive?

Cons: The 16G drive I bought died after about 2 months. This can happen with any USB drive, but 1 out of 2 isn't exactly confidence inspiring.

Other Thoughts: Just don't store anything on it that you can't afford to lose.

ASRock Z68 PRO3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Rock solid stability - I haven't had a motherboard this reliable since my Abit NF7-S. BIOS is well laid out. ASRock extras like XFast USB & LAN, RAM drive software, etc.

Cons: Fan control is a bit weak - lets you set fan levels (e.g. Level 6) without any indication what that means. Used to have trouble staying asleep (it would go to sleep, then wake right back up), but the latest BIOS has fixed that.

Other Thoughts: Running my i5 2500K at 4.0GHz. Haven't even tried going higher. Using 16GB (4x4GB) GSkill Ripjaw DDR3 1600. Had to update the BIOS before it would boot using more than 1 stick of memory, but it works fine now.
