This review is from: KitchenAid KICA0WH Ice Cream Maker Attachment for Stand Mixer White
Pros: Easy to use! Allows me to make all-natural ice-cream with any tastes. So far, tried vanilla and rum-and-raisins ice-cream. Perfect texture, no ice pieces (as they would usually form when cooking without an ice-cream maker).
Cons: Along with the container of freshly made ready-to-eat dessert, this ice-cream maker takes a whole shelf in the freezer. May not fit into a usual freezer drawer.
Other Thoughts: This attachment allows making ice-cream in 24 hours. Combinine the ingredients in a bowl in the evening, cool in a fridge overnight. Then mix them in an ice-cream maker in the morning, place into a container, and cool in a freezer. Ice-cream is ready to eat on the following evening!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: KitchenAid FVSP Fruit and Vegetable Strainer Parts for Food Grinder
Pros: Easily makes fresh juice! Fine pulp accumulates on the outer surface of the nozzle and can be added to the juice or carefully collected as a puree.
Hassle-free, not nearly as noisy as common juice-makers. As long as you collect juice into the wide pan, there would be no splashes onto non-designated surfaces.
Cons: Juice/puree should be collected into a wide pan, as it does spray down around. A glass wouldn't work.
Better make more than less juice/puree, as after that all the attachments should be thoroughly cleaned, and metal parts better be dried right after cleaning.
Other Thoughts: A good buy, for sure! Don't know why I haven't bought it earlier! Fresh orange juice or apple puree are just perfect.READ FULL REVIEW
