This review is from: Samsung 3D Wi-Fi Blu-Ray Disc Player
Pros: Quick boot and play times. Good HD picture. Netflix and other apps work well. Has Hulu etc. WiFi streams well over Signature Time Warner. Lightweight and stylish. Has my Samsung account from my TV and phone signed in. So far, this thing has played all of my digital movies no problem. I've been putting them on a USB and its awesome.
Cons: Small remote. No HDMi cable included but that's common. Fingerprint magnet. Slow updates. Had to update (install) 19 apps upon hookup to WiFi.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: This motherboard is great, it really is. It recognized my 1075T on first boot with no problems. I bought this board because it was AMD and nVidia together on one board, that it had true dual SLI and that it supposedly recognized the new AMD six core processors.... Well mine did and I love ASUS for that. I hate flashing BIOS.
Cons: Before you read this, just remember Provantage.com
I've learned that this site is way better than newegg and here's why:
So the first m4n98td evo board I ordered was dead. It would turn on for 3 seconds then turn off and repeat over and over again. So I RMAed it to NewEgg, who made me pay to return the product, $40 I believe, including shipping, and gave me a shipping label that had UPS take almost a week and a half to get it to NewEgg. Then NewEgg took almost 3 days to tell me they were out of stock on this board so they would just refund my money (not the 40 for the RMA). So I said _____ NewEgg and ordered a second one from Provantage.com because they told me if anything went wrong, they would pay for shipping and the RMA process and they clearly list how many they have in stock on there website and this motherboard was 2 dollars cheaper on that site :D
My original order from newegg included a new system build. memory I ordered from them was dead, the CPU had bent "teeth"
Other Thoughts: so it wouldn't install into the motherboard correctly. Overall, 3 high end products were dead, shipped from NewEgg. That's not a coincidence. An AMD 1075t = dead.
Kingston HyperX memory 6GB(3x2gb) = dead, all three sticks. M4N98TD EVO = dead. I'll never order from newegg again. Provantage all the way.
Pros: Very good CPU. I've yet to see it hit anywhere close to 100%. It's hard to find ways! I've played Crysis, watched an HD youtube video, and played a DVD, all at the same time. No hiccups and not anywhere close to touching the ceiling of this processor.
This CPU stays cool as I've never broken 49 Celsius even with stock cooling. Boot up is lightning fast!
Cons: Make sure you pair this thing with a good graphics card and good memory, otherwise you will hit bottlenecks and start thinking the CPU sucks. It doesn't, so if you're experiencing hiccups, then something is bottlenecking your system. Fix that.
Other Thoughts: Haven't tried overclocking yet, mainly because I want to get a different cooler first. I don't want to risk messing this bad boy up, and quite frankly, I haven't found a need to overclock. This CPU is great how it is.READ FULL REVIEW
