  • Owned For: more than 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs Excellent Emergency Light 01/05/2014

This review is from: ENERGIZER FL452WRH LED Area Folding Lantern with Mirror Energizer Flashlight

Pros: Bright, relatively durable, and efficient

Cons: Not the prettiest looking light but functional

Other Thoughts: Left on max setting for two days accidentally and still was shining brightly. We use this as our emergency lantern.

Pros: Impressive Speed, even without Turbo
Great screen size and very glossy screen (also a con)
As previously stated, amazing deal for the price.
Overall, very intuitive, attactive laptop that will turn heads with speed and appearance.
HDMI is quiiite impressive, even on larger screens.

Cons: Subwoofer with 4 speakers? WAY overstated. Its treble is crisp but bass is all but completely missing. Shift key is ridiculously small however dwarfs the arrow keys which seems like a reeeally dumb design choice when designing a gaming comp. Nothing against the comp itself but Vista obviously blows MAJORLY, and becomes quite unstable if anything but legitimate software is loaded. Last off, the operating system was loaded onto the C: drive or perhaps the C:/ partition which is quite small and fills up quickly unless you remember to install to the much larger D: drive. Speed suffers if you forget this. Also the microphone is practically unuseable, a small failure but important for peripheral haters. Last, the HDMI out can glitch at times leaving the main screen blank and vice versa even when unhooked. The mousepad is also very large and will jump across the screen randomly when typing.

Other Thoughts: In summary, its still a really nice deal. Short of seeeveral annoying glitches, they are pretty overlookable, and this laptop will be strong enough to run most programs at full speed for probably some time to come. Keep an eye on MSI to make a strong name for themselves as soon as they stop trying to redesign the wheel (err I mean the keyboard)
