Pros: Very fast boot times, fast transfer. Everything is fast inducing tech support with a bad answer and no help.
Now that it does work most of the boot time is for the BIOS, about 30 seconds on the BIOS, and 15-20 seconds for the os to load. Booting Windows Server 2008 on a 2.8GHz dual core with 1GB ram
Cons: Kingston tech support, learn your product and produce a driver for older OS's. I know my equipment was not too old because every single computer I ran it on the BIOS saw it, it was unable to be used because of a lack of driver.
Yes firmware was up-to-date, before you even ask...
Other Thoughts: It is not picky on motherboards contrary to what Kingston support said. They told me "My computers are too old, oh well buy new stuff" I paraphrased a little. So I download the INTEL!!!!!!! ACHI Driver and load it during install, and wouldn't you know it, it runs without a flaw.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 32-bit for System Builders
Pros: I got my copy for free...
It pretty if you have an expensive machine to run it on...
When i installed it i dual booted with XP, my computer has never booted up with the same speed. I also believe it cooked my RAM from making the CPU run hotter... Had to put in another 120mm fan just so i could keep it running.
The UAC is Microsoft's way off screwing us over, the thing is useless and annoying. I only had drivers for half my stuff inside. I never had sound, video(at full resolution), my printer never worked, 2nd burner never worked. Nero, anti-virus, some games never worked.
Other Thoughts: In a world designed around XP vista was its mean little brother. Always ruining your day, losing your important files, and getting in your way. Vista is a waste of money, glad i didn't spend any on it..READ FULL REVIEW
