Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151

Pros: Solid construction Brackets for a (good)fan Brackets can also be used for a second fan Massive drop from stock cooling on AMD 8350 Supremely easy to install Instructions could have included a hint or two Brackets worked on Noctua - Barely

Cons: Brackets are a little fussy No second pair of brackets

Overall Review: I'm amiss as to why people call this difficult to install, the instructions got the tightening pattern right but perhaps people don't know how much to tighten. The goal is to tighten initially just a thread or two, enough to secure it and move to the next, if you screw it in too much you'll have to fight(and possibly damage) to screw the next one in. I was running 60ish idle and 80 on Far Cry 4 prior to this with a wind tunnel in it, after fitting my Noctua to it(See Am_zon review for pictures with Noctua) and installing with Arctic I'm at 40 idle and 60 full bore, extremely impressive results.

Beware.

SENNHEISER PC 130 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Stereo Headset
SENNHEISER PC 130 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Stereo Headset

Comments: These headphones sound good, but dear gawd, if you're a bigger person, taller than 5'10'', stay away, after a half an hour my head was pulsating in pain, I tried to resist it due to the nice sound, but I just couldn't, they hurt like heck. I was forced to Return them, all three Sennheisers I've tried suffer from this head-vice-grip problem, even the closed ears, if you're a small person with a small head, these should be fine for you.

Double Delight

XFX Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Double Dissipation Edition Video Card R9-290A-EDFD

Pros: Kevin Silence Performance Radeon Rewards PRICE!

Cons: Power draw Heat

Overall Review: I made the mistake of buying stock cooling, last time I bought an ASUS 7850 with a proper fan and heatsink - I'll never go back. They don't go bad, they cool better, they're quiet, if XFX ever teams up with Noctua I'll have to be devout. That said I am converted, twice I've dealt with XFX and twice I left utterly satisfied with their customer service. Point one is someone who speaks English, which is rare these days, a rep named Kevin helped me sort out the Radeon Gold business(Star Citizen!) to my complete satisfaction, and really buying XFX for the support alone is a wise decision as the other companies will jerk you all over Asia like a Dutch banker. These cards run hot, that's just how they are, they draw a lot of power, Nvidia had this problem as their architecture path closed and now AMD is there too, the upshot of this is thorough stability not inherent in the new architecture. I regularly observed my Far Cry 4 FPS using this and an AMD 8350 on 16GB of RAM to be 40+ at all times on High settings with 1080p widescreen, lesser games of course are 60+, a rock solid card indeed.

Such a thing as too quiet?

Noctua NF-P12 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (120mm, Brown)
Noctua NF-P12 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (120mm, Brown)

Pros: Incredibly quiet, easily the quietest case fan I've ever laid ears on Converter cables included! Works with SpeedFan and Q-Fan(SmartFan) Moves more air than many comparable fans Covered cable Long cable(good for fan controllers)

Cons: Too quiet? I can hear my HDD working, and it is quite loud now Little expensive Rubber screws don't instill a sense of sturdiness No covering on the fan header "Ugly" to those that for reasons which escape me care about that in a case fan

Overall Review: The fan comes with some rather nice features, including converter cables, the cable itself is much longer than your usual fan cable meaning fan controllers with the headers on the controller itself should reach from the exhaust. The fan's magic "quiet" everyone talks about is indeed the quietest fan I've ever had, however I wish it was actually capable of pumping the air a little louder, I can hear the HDD over everything quite clearly with only the soft whoosh of the fan operating at capacity via SpeedFan. The cable is covered, but the header is not, I did not use the included rubber screws, however they appear troublesome to actually get into the system without some dainty work, they don't exactly exhibit any idea of sturdiness. I'll say this again however, if you like a nice strong "whoosh" sound to your fans, don't look here, these are far too quiet for that, and astonishingly at their low RPM and noise level they're cooling my AVC Hercules radiator block at lower temperat

Really great monitor

SAMSUNG 19" a-si TFT/TN WXGA+ LCD Monitor 4ms (GTG) 1440 x 900 D-Sub, DVI-D 941BW

Pros: Gorgeous resolution Sharp text Magic---- Software really enhances the screen Very good controls Very easy on the eyes in regards to aesthetics No dead pixels on mine! Thank Goodness.

Cons: No swivel or height adjustment Cannot adjust Contrast when Magic Color is turned on Too bright by default

Overall Review: Oddly enough I've had no problems with the back of the casing, I wasn't very nice to this getting it on my desk and it stayed attached without a hitch, with and without wires, the blue color button is really nice, bright green is an eyesore, if you're spoiled by great monitors(high quality LCDs) you might not like this, if you've never had a nice LCD though, you'll be blown away.

No rating could be low enough.

Land Of The Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green PC Game
Land Of The Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green PC Game

Pros: George A. Romero's Land Of The Dead

Cons: This game and it's butchering of the rules of George A. Romero's Land Of The Dead Lack of gameplay Unreal 2.0 engine attributes to already flimsy gameplay Breaks the rules of the universe it's in with every encounter Bugs, glitches, getting stuck on objects.

Overall Review: One of the best movies of all tiem disgraced by one of the worst games of the past five years, I reiterate, no rating could be low enough.
