Pros: Easy install
Low power consumption
Cons: First one was DOA
Other Thoughts: As I said, first one received was DOA. I couldn't even boot from the intel integrated card with this GTX installed. I was scratching my head wondering what I had done wrong, but finally arrived at the conclusion that I must have just received a bad card.
I noticed some debris and odd wear already on the card when I opened it. To me, it appeared as though I received a used card in a new box. I can't confirm this, of course but the second one I received was clean and newer looking. Booted right away, first time.
Pros: Has all the features I needed.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Paired with an i3-4330 w/HD4600 graphics, there's an issue when connecting this HDMI straight into a TV. When the TV is turned off and back on, you lose sound. The machine has to be rebooted to get the sound back. I currently believe this is a problem with the 4600 graphics however, and not with the MOBO.
I did get an alpha version of F4 BIOS which fixed the problem. The reason I still blame Intel is that many many other boards/brands have this same problem in builds with the HD 4600.
Pros: Good price
Does what you'd expect
Cons: The only thing I can think of is the plastic housing around the eject button is odd. It's like a solid piece of plastic, and there's a 'hill' for the button. I don't like the design of that very much.I'd much rather prefer a normal button.
Other Thoughts: It's a BD-ROM/DVD-ROM, nothing more or less.READ FULL REVIEW
