Pros: It has plenty of power for a complete system.
Cons: It produces a whining screeching noise out of the right speakers when it is 1st powered on. It continues to make the noise until it receives an input signal from the radio so if the volume is all the way down when the system is turned on it makes the noise until you turn up the volume.
It also makes a loud pop through the subs when its turned off.
And it has a slight amount of engine noise.
I would not buy this amp!
Other Thoughts: I've worked in the car audio field most of my life I was a Best Buy car audio supervisor, I am a DEI factory trained installer and at one time was a certified MECP 1st class installer. I have never have I had these issues with any other amp.
This was a direct replacement for a Boston Acoustics GT40 that I ran for years and never had any of these issues. I have all 100% copper oxygen free 4 gauge wire, all terminals are soldered on and I have 3 sets of Fosgate twisted pair RCAs run down the opposite side of my vehicle.I went through and checked to make sure no cables were pinched or damaged in any way just to make sure there wasn't anything I did. For an almost $300 amp I am very unhappy.
This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Red Edition)
Pros: Keyboard works good and lights up.
Cons: The biggest con is the mouse wheel rolls really rough and squeaks loudly. It's annoying and basically useless...
Also you have to turn on the keyboard lights eventide you power on your computer otherwise you cannot see what the buttons are.
Other Thoughts: I bought this thinking cooler master was a decent brand with a quality product. I was wrong, try to find something else avoid this headache!
I recorded a video to demonstrate the level of noise but I guess newegg won't allow video reviews anymore.
Pros: Very fast and powerful with room to overclock it even more than it already is!
I owned 3 R9290Xs and decided to sell them due to the amount of noise and heat they generated. I am truly glad I did! This card is so quiet in comparison it's hard to believe.
The cooling fans don't even kick on till it reaches 60 degrees Celsius. I am running a 28" Samsung 4K monitor and am very happy with this card!
Cons: It's huge, takes 3 expansion slots total so if you're looking at an SLI setup check your motherboard manual for slot spacing of SLI setup and choose your card wisely!
Other Thoughts: I have never owned a Zotac product and decided to give them a try when EVGA couldn't seem to get the Hybrid or the Classified 980TI's in stock. This card is faster out of the box than both and is faster than the Kingpin version out of the box as well and has room to overclock and overvolt beyond what it has out of the box!
My current 3Dmark Fire Strike score of 22570 with 1 980ti running over 1500MHz core clock on a 3770K is better than 99% of all results with just 1 GPU!
Looks like I am a Zotac customer now and happy for it!
