This review is from: Soul by Ludacris SL99 In-Ear High-Def Sound Isolation Headphone
Pros: they look nice, and the build quality is outstanding. cable is very thick with a 90* plug, mic quality is standard. and the cable is just the right length. the tips that came with them fir me quite well, just don't be afraid of jamming them in your ear properly.
Cons: they are kinda heavy and the sound quality is that similar to SEMI-bass heavy $35 dollar in ears, these arent bass heavy so the lack of sound quality is questionable.
Other Thoughts: Get them on sale and they are totally worth it!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: IPS display (meaning i can view it from any angle with out the screen becoming to dark or to light) great for movies and photo editing.
the 5 (or7ms) delay is not noticeable and i have never encountered an instance of ghosting. i play a lot of mmo's and FPSS
its very light that of a 19inch
silver finish doesn't seem like it will flake and although made of plastic seems very sturdy.
its extremely thing, but my webcam still has a nice sturdy home on top. the viewing angle from so high is very pleasing to those i skype with.
comes with CS software for calibration and the ability to partition (split) my screen real estate meaning i can have youtube, adobe, illustrator and an RSS feed on the screen at the same time with different sizes seamlessly.
the flat touch activated icons on the front turn on and off depending on when you are using them allowing for full emersion in any movie or game, which i care about a lot. the power button is always on, but i have found a way in the menu to have it turned off.
Cons: there is no vesa mounting holes, i have found that you can get a vesa mount adapter for quite cheap. but its still a let down.
Other Thoughts: this legit looks like an Apple based display, and for a fraction of the price this provides exactly the same quality.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Turtle Beach Ear Force DX11 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound Headset Bundle for Xbox 360
Pros: They feel great on the head and ears with no heat
can keep them on for 5h plus
nice inline controls
got it for 49 bucks
nice DVD quality mic
sound quality is bliss
comes with every cable you need
Cons: the usb power picks up all frequencies in or around the plug (e.a. wireless usb, bluetooth, CPU, ect)
the dolby option sounds like small room reverb. like talking in a bathroom.
the mic picks up EVERYTHING even in game sounds due to the open back design. my friends hate me when I leave my voice chat on open...
no 3d sound in the slightest. in fact. the sound wont move around the headset at all... might be my pair...
no sub lows. sub lows make the DX11 box overload
if you dont have an optical in you need to buy the converter listed in the manual 28 bucks
Other Thoughts: to fix the usb issue, just plug the usb into the wall via phone charger or usb to wall connection
you don't have to use the optical connection to receive Dolby audio. you can use the analog in.
